Windows 7 is great after having so many problems with Planetside like never getting it to work on Vista and the spawn tube graphical glitch. I've not had one problem with the game on Windows 7 and hopefully now my mates will be able to try the game after they had the same problems with vista.

I kinda wish they put the trial for when the merge the servers because all my characters are on Werner. However I've just been playing and when you're in a nice big battle you wouldn't get on anyother FPS. You have a friendly Galaxy Gunship flying overhead being attacked by a reaver and then suddenly everyone goes to rescue the Gunship. You're looking up at this dogfight going on and then some Mosqs come to backup the Reaver. Your max units are all trying to attack the aircraft and you're being attacked on the ground by tanks and snipers. It's like just amazing and you wish that SOE did something more with Planetside rather than giving a crap expansion, BFRs which made everyone leave and the bending lol.

Having such a great time again though it's a really good game and the gameplay still holds up which just shows how ahead of it's time it was. Just a shame the graphics are abit dated but people still play Counter Strike so it isn't much of an issue with an FPS.

i don't see why people care so much about BFR's anyway, they are a huge target, everybody attacks them, they are kinda slow, and when you die you have to wait a while to use one again, and they cost alot of CERT points.

People hate them because thats when everyone left the game cause they used to be overpowered. Now they're useless and just die.

The golden days of Planetside are back!

2 pop locks on Gemini and at the same time over 100 NC players on Werrner.  It will be even better when the servers merge on 25th August.

Back are the huge outdoor tank battles, bases being laid to siege by massive armies and 3-way poplocks with 399 players in the same battle.  No other MMOFPS comes close.

Planetside lives on stronger than ever. 

Frigging they need to up the pop locks cause I swear they've lowered them by 50%.

they need to do something about hackers. I was just playing and there was a max.....flying. People were /broadcasting "I just saw a flying max!! what the hell is that??" The consensus was that there is nothing anybody can do about it, so just ignore it  :S

VS maxes have always been able to fly.  I got killed last night by a flying tank shell, but that's apparently not a hack either.

NC are the ones in purple, right?  Maybe you should check your graphics card colour settings.  Or just chill out and enjoy experiencing something completely new.

I am hearing good things about Windows 7 and PS, not had too many probs with Vista but its too resource hungry.

Think its time to build a new PC.

I tried the game now for over a week thanks to the free play and after playing mostly NC and TR I am pretty pissed off. The current Lasher is stupidly overpowered resulting in VS having a major population advantage thanks to the flavour of the month syndrome. Reading that it has been like that since over half a year sounds like a joke.

The added weapons the model quality of a second class half-life mod from 2000.

Letting people check out the game in its current state is anti-advertising. Expecting from me to pay 15 bucks for this game is just silly.
