Figured I'd put this out for any players who don't normally check the official AC forums, they are currently accepting new people for their private test server and have an application all setup.

Private test server is where they put up content before it is released to let selected players play through it and give feedback.

 

The graphics are older, it would entirely depend on your tastes, but they do have a 14 day free trial is you want to see them.

or just go to youtube and search a video for it.  or even screenshots.

If you are worried about graphics then AC probably isn't the game for you.

http://forums.ac.turbine.com/showthread.php?t=42680 is the link to the test server info. It's only open to current subscribers.
