I am probably like many other people who are anxiously awaiting a beta key for CO.  I have been signed up forever and a day with Cryptic waiting for my key.  But it seems the closer it gets to date, the more magazines and websites have x amount of beta keys.  Really it kind of slaps those of us who have been trying to get into the beta through traditional means.  And it doesn't help when it seems like people probably have like 10 keys each because they just go and scour the sites for them and if they pick them up they either use them or sell them.  and don't say I haven't tried because I have.  I signed up for half the bloody sites to get a key just to get told "we have allocated all out beta keys" when I get done registering.  Or the twitter competitions mostly gets determined by who has the fastest internet connection with a refresh.  I wish Cryptic would send more keys out to people who have been registered for the beta through the CO website more often.

Now imagine how ripped off they feel :P. Brought it there myself, but not for the headstart luckely.

I am more miffed over the fact that they give away closed beta keys to anyone sitting at home hitting f5, but make those of us who have preordered wait nearly till release to play. Real smooth move Cryptic. Way to support those who support (or will be supporting) you. Just love how mmos operate nowadays in this regard...

beta is only 2 days a week. when you guys get into open beta it should be 24/7

Well i got a beta key after a lot of time and i'm very happy about it ! IT ROCKS

Ah...I know the feeling I have been signed up on their site every since I heard about Champions and have been following its progress ever since. I signed up with numerous beta events as well as trying the twitter all day yesterday(obviously I couldn't type fast enough). Anyways Im just hoping for some other event to pop up somewhere Im still searching and GL to ya!

I had a chance to register for beta during PAX 08. and companies would be wise to give their dedicated fans/fanbase some beta keys before some joe shmoe who just wants a beta key cause it looks cool, because the fanbase will in most regards give better feed back with out being to judgemental. imo

I know how u feel guy, i signed up for the beta back in like MAR 08 and it took till FEB 09 to get an invite. But the servers only up 2 days aweek for a few hours so ur not missin much.

Ya but at this point Im very skeptical about a game no matter how good it looks, since I got hyped for a game and it turned out to be an ok game with frustrating Scenarios and such.  so we will see. I do have to say one of the reasons I really want to try it out, is because from the game play footage I have seen it looks really reminisant of CoH with updated graphics and some new mechanics added with some more costume parts and power customization.

co combat is much more action than coh to me
