You know the $5 goes as a down payment for the game right? Other wise what's going to stop anyone from grabbing a FREE beta key, common. Plus we have the flexibility to not pay for the game if we don't like the beta. It's not like im going to pay more money for the actual game. Pledge your support to creating a PvP Community on Aion. Join our server on release. |

It's not like im going to pay more money for the actual game. well no, but i prefer paying nothing at all.... i like paying nothing and being able to cancel if i feel like it... the beta is a bonus, can't complain.... which is why i don't rant much about it, it's free. it'd be like bitching about air. of course a lot of people don't see it that way, hence the level of whinging reaching epidemic levels in some cases. personally i think all games should be like that.. preorder get a demo of the game see how much it sucks... they won't do it though... companies have no balls. Well every time I have pre-ordered a game locally they ask for 5 bucks up front. Doesn't matter what the game is. Like someone said after you, it doesn't make the game cost more. It'll cost the same price as yours. Plus, spending 5 bucks saved me 45. Because I can't stand the game and have no intention of dropping any more money into it. So I paid 5 bucks to play the beta a couple different weekends. How is that any different than going to Blockbuster or a similar place and renting a game for a few days? |

If you go to http://gamestop.com you can preorder online for nothing. They will take your CC # just for a placeholder. Just make sure you select "pick up at store loca__" instead of having it shipped to you. They state that you will be expected to pay in full at the time of pickup. If you do not have a CC, you could always use a pre paid debit MC, or a debit MC. If you do not want to pay online, then you can pre order in person at Gamestop for $5 down like any pre order game. I believe Best Buy and amazon are also selling pre orders, but you will have to visit their sites to view their policies. Good hunting, Malikye |

if you cant afford to go to gamestop and drop $5 on a beta card or preorder the game online im afraid you cant afford the montly fee to play the game. stick with f2p grinders i guess. |
