Considering that you get dodge bonuses while moving, I'll be kiting constantly.

I predict there will be lots of gladiators on release day, just because once people see them in PVP action and how good they are at it, people will flock to that class.

i had to click gladiator becuase its the first class i wanted to play when i read up on aion, but its certainly not the only:  ill also absolutely have to have a ranger, and a cleric, and both of the casters, the only classes that dont interest me right off the bat are the assassin templar and chanter, nothing wrong with them, just not my personal preferences ^^.  also i dont kite, if my ranger cant kill it with the bow before it gets to him he pulls steel and finishes the fight like a man.

Assassin, always play the agile and fast hitting class in MMO. I might play Spiritmaster or Sorceror too.

All class in Aion are more or less balanced in PvP in 1 vs 1 standard.

In small group PvP, setup dictate which class is prefered and how you decide to fight the target group is also a factor.  Many ways to setup one too depend on what the focus is.  Ground combat, air superiority, blitz, attrition, all around, etc.

Chanter and Gladiator for sure.

I am thinking Ranger but i keep hearing bad things about them. Are they getting buffed or nerfed in 1.5? People are telling me too many different things :(.

umm ranger is very painful from 10-16 they have like 2 bow abilities till 16. they really pick up at 16 tho, alot of cool abilities. the 22 stigma is fun, you hit the mob and stuns them for like 3 sec and knocks you back 25 yards. i stealth, back stab, knock back, then use the bow attacks. not sure about nerfs or buffs. i hear they're on par at end game tho, if played well, some people just suck with them from what i read.i stoped playin the chinese servers so i don't burn out before we get it, and i can play it with friends.

I chose cleric, but to be honest I will be going with 3 characters, one in our guild, two in the alt guild.

Allora will be in Symphony of Storms, she will be an Asmo cleric

Aryalla will be in the alt guild, and will be a Asmo chanter

and I will also play a tank alt, probably Glad since I have one in beta and like it well enough.

Ranger. Engage glass cannon.  Also looking forward to playing alts (rare statement for me).

Quite suprised to see cleric as top, but it is nice to see.

Having a hard time deciding between chanter and SM.  Im strongly leaning toward Chanter because of the things i have heard about SM, that and pets cannot fly and would have to be resummoned.  That being said chanter seems to be to be similar in theme to WoW's shaman (the last class ive roled and the one I enjoy the most), group buffs, meele, and some healing.

I think you'd like Chanter more.

by these polls 28% will be healers but only 12% tanks? don't people know templars with good gear are near invincible? :p

You all remember, I suppose, that beautiful and inspired saying of Our Ford's: "History is bunk."

The low numbers of Spiritmasters is most interesting to me.  I think it's the whole issue with flight (though they have an ability to ground enemies).  Still, they are important in PvP settings from what I've read and heard from people with direct experience.  Looks to be a very "in demand" class if things turn out anything like this poll suggests.  It seems like the number of Sorcerers is a bit low too... at least in my legion attm.
