Alright.. This might be tough, since i don't think theres any mmo that will fit this description, but here i go.

I'm looking for a MMO or game with online capabilities where i have to survive, perhaps a game where i can barricade doors from zombies, or a game where i build a town while being attacked by AI controlled monsters that grow stronger and stronger, until i cant take it anymore and have to start over.

I'm not looking for your average grind up a few levels mmos, I'm looking for something where I'm always in danger, and i have to survive against the upcoming hordes of death, i would like levels as long as its fun leveling.

After writing this, i have to add this.
It doesn't have to be Massively multiplayer, as long as i can hop into a game with 10 people or so, much like the Survival maps in warcraft 3, like Eras Zombie Invasion, or X hero siege.

( I'm not going to play Cod's zombie mode again by the way, left 4 dead isn't going to work for me either. )

I think you're just looking for some survival horror game that you can play online.  I'm sure there's something for xbox...

I don't think there's such a thing as an MMO where you are constantly in danger, because even the harshest rulesets have safezones, or you could just log out.

As far as I know, there aren't any existing MMOs like what you want, sorry.

It's top down view, but it has a good variety in weapons, i think you can baricade doors and set up trade routes and stuff.. Should investigate it some more.

The sound your weapon makes even has an effect.. a chainsaw would attract more zombies then a knife for example.

 It would be a good idea though, you could have a "militarized zone" or something where people default to when they log out.  And anytime you venture outside these areas you are constantly in danger.
