So how's the NA servers holding up? :) Are there many people playing? Is it worth logging in? Are there enough people to find groups/guilds/find various social "stuff to do". Considering buying the NA release. S H A D O W H A N D

I'm in EU but this is not a good place to ask. The anti-darkfall guys will start saying how empty the server and how fail it is. http://www.youtube.com/FEZNuclear |

who cares... those of na players who bought the EU game got raped. We were told we'd be taken care of, but instead they want us to rebuy the game or wait 3 months. They made it sound like their hands were tied due to it being a seperate company, and now we find out, its just a different LLC owned by AV. In other words, its just a cash grab.

glad to hear there are some who dont mind waiting, however, in 3 months you will still have to pay a fee to move. Either way its charging your customer twice, after telling them they will be taken care of. |

I used to play a game with worse customer service guess I am used to it. I pay more attention to the gameplay, raids, and sieges more http://www.youtube.com/FEZNuclear |

It's a huge world but it's not hard to find people around cities (both NPC and guild). Originally posted by Pyrostasis
{ Mod Edit } They were upfront from the start about telling you that you'd have to wait 3 months before transferring.

Friend who plays says its not empty but in no way is it near full or full of good players. His words not mine and he loves the game. You can look at it in a negative way or see it as a positive to help get you used to the game and get your skills to a decent level prior to the xfers. Its up to you how you wanna see it. |

Originally posted by Trenchgun Really? So, you can point to a quote from Tasos at the time of the EU-1 launch that mentions the 3 month transfer wait and/or the re-buying of the client? Because THAT would be "from the start".
Cool... I'll wait for the link.
As an aside perhaps you can explain why they secretly changed their web-site from 1 character per server to 1 per account as well. But, that would be bonus points.
Edit: For even more extra credit points, perhaps you can explain what the "Certain restrictions and charges" of the transfers will be... since Tasos and Aventurine have been so "upfront from the start" about the transfers and everything. |

He can also explain the charge to transfer because "there is a different publisher in NA". Well I guess there really is if you twist meanings of words since the publisher in EU is AV and in NA it is Av. All summed up in one word FRAUD and they need their asses hauled into court and sued out of existence to send a message to the rest of the crooked bastards out there. |

It was a money grab and should be illegal. The fact they are double charging like that, I wouldn't give the game more than a 1 out of 10 review. I would never recommend the game to anyone and I definately would never give my personal details to a company that has no business ethics.
Fear not fanbois, we are not trolls, let's take off your tin foil hat and learn what VAPORWARE is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaporware "Vaporware is a term used to describe a software or hardware product that is announced by a developer well in advance of release, but which then fails to emerge after having well exceeded the period of development time that was initially claimed or would normally be expected for the development cycle of a similar product." |
