Yea, I have been doing months of research on upcomming games like Aion, Jumpgate Evolution, Champions Online, Star Wars and many others. None of them seem to be have what I like in a MMO. I want a full open world where I can go anywhere and do anything type of mmo. I have recently started following Mortal Online so I dont know much about it yet. Can somebody please just give me a little run down on what unique features Mortal Online will be offering when it releases. I also understand that if I preorder I get beta access and I do plan on doing this soon.

Isn't it kinda in the early stages for that? Whatever, to each his own. But it is a risky indi. Theres no guarentee that it will even make it out the doors.

Is there something I am missing? Why would it not get released? As I said earlier I just started following Mortal so I dont know alot about it but it seems to be the only MMO comming out that going to a real MMO.

If you read my original post Mortal Online is not listed as one of the games I have been researching. I just started looking into this game. I have been reading forums here and at the official site and all I see people talking about is that they have to pay for the beta.

This makes absolutely ZERO sense dude.  You claim to have done research for months on the latest MMO's and then you go and say you haven't done any research on Mortal Online, yet you have decided that it is the game you are going to play.  How does that make any sense at all?

These guys are jerking your chain.  Yes, one of the features happens to be nudity.  Too many people are so interested in looking like they are funny that they won't give you a real answer.  Me, I'm not giving you a real answer because from all the 'research' you've done, you know nothing about Mortal Online. 

My suggestion is to go to Mortal Onlines website and read up.  They have several video.  Several articles.  They also have a powerpoint presentation on all of the features that are going to be in release.  It's actually quite convenient for you because you only have to watch that to get a good idea of the core features of the game.  It might take you 15 minutes to read.  If you read slowly.

(In my humble opinion this .ppt presentation says more than any screenshot or beta video about what the devs are actually intending to accomplish with MO, it gives us insight in game mechanics and gameplay features and those are the things that make or break a game in my book)

I never said I have not done any research on Mortal Online. I said I just started which I mean that I started a couple of days ago. If you noticed I said that I had already been on the official site and forums. I am on this board daily so of course I have read some threads were people are talking about games like Mortal Online and Darkfall so I do know a little. I was really looking forward to another game as my next game but now I dont think I will be playing it. There are other games that intrest me but I need something deep and epic  with  freedom so here I am. I dont know if this game is that game but for now it looks like it. I will look for the power point thing also.

NP, OP!

2 weeks of grind only for primary skills and few other weeks for secondary skills. After that, you can basically what ever you want in the game.

Full loot and no exeption. open pvp anywhere with guards , but if you are strong enough, you can kill guards.

Fast paced pvp so you die fast. The opposite of DF thats mean.

 over 140 mill crafting combinason.

Skill base

FPV only, no minimap, full frontal naked.

Housing.

I didnt drop it all, but you should go download the powerpoint to know more about MO.

There is a guarantee if people start helping insted of flaming. So unless you want more microtransaction WoW clones, start helping.

Maybe I should had said this when I first made this thread.

1. Open World : This is #1 thing that I want in a MMO. I cant stand how MMOs are taking away the Exploration aspect that made so many people fall in love with the genre.

2. Open PVP : Some people hate this feature but Lineage 2 being the only MMO I have really ever played this is what I am use to and now this is another feature that I want in any MMo that  I play.

3. None Quest Based : I cant do Quest based mmos that hold your hand  sending you down a linear path telling  you to go do this or go kill x number of these. I dont see how people play these types of games.

4. The MMO that I had been waiting so long for and finally got a chance to play has all of the above things I dont like so I started looking for a mmo that did not have those things and the only MMO that I found to not have those things was Mortal Online.

So not knowing alot about Mortal Online I knew that it had the key things that I want from a MMO so here I am now learning all I can about the game and the more I research the game the more I am feeling confident that this is the game that I am looking for.
