 Reign of Chaos
Elyos
PvP/PK
North America

Why did we use this name? I guess I was just young, and we're still using it today because it contains memorable history.

Introduction/History

2005 - RoC was made in a private Ragnarok Online server, also known as Discovery RO.
2006-2007 - RoC has been extremely competitive among the top low rate private RO servers containing a population of 1-2k with 1-2 siege castles. We were just kids, teenagers, and a group of friends.
2007 - RO got extremely repetitive, especially how it was just... private servers so we decided to find another game. Something related to massive RvR action, tons of guilds based something similar to War of Emperium/Castle Siege. Our eyes were caught on Rising Force Online; we decided to move over there, playing in the server - Lumen. Eventually Solus appeared and we hopped over to the most unpopulated race, Bellatos. Our goal was to be extremely competitive and aim for the status of Archon. We ended up being high ranked top players for the Bellatos, enjoying every chip wars, and loved the betrayal and drama. I eventually became Race Leader of Bellatos, at the worst time where it's set on my exam dates, so I had to go inactive.
2008 - Unfortunately, guild members missed RO, so they dragged me back. The server wiped, we quit, and went to Rohan Online. It was just way too extremely cash shopped based.
2008-2009 - We ended up playing Perfect World International on a PvE server. PvE, lol, still makes me laugh. We honestly regretted playing the PvE server - Heavens Tear. RoC cores refused to join; we just had to start over. Eventually our roster got zerged up to 130 active members and became the second best guild. We were just a bunch of slackers; we had absolutely no motivation to level, to grind, or to even do our daily quests. There was just a lack of competition and with no PvP, we have nothing to look forward to.

We now have around 30-40 members for Aion, the rest were rejected to continue with RoC.
We also picked Elyos because I have a few rival guilds on Asmodian and some of the guilds look competitive, so I decided to roll Elyos thinking it's more entertaining facing Asmodians. We have always been underdogs, it gives us motivation to be superior.

Goal

Our goal is very similar to any other top competitive legions out there; to be an independent and ambitious legion. We play competitively and intelligently in both PvP and PvE environments. All obstacles are observed carefully and used for our own advantage to achieve victory. We want a team of players that overrides any situation that we'll be encountering. We have always believed in quality over quantity, but there's just some MMORPG out there, that quantity will win even if our members kill thousands, there will always be another ten thousand waiting.

We want an organized guild full of competitive hardcore players. We're extremely strict on recruiting and we will not hold back on friend invitations.

Drama/Helpful

From our past experience, we're known as a no drama guild. We don't want to see guild drama, but we could careless on what you cause outside of the guild. Our guild has freedom, to do whatever you want, as long you can back it up. We don't want immature players blasting their mouth trash talking on nonsense that they can't back up. We usually only cause drama if we have the rights to do so and for our own entertainment.

RoC will offer any kind of help for PvP situations as long as we're nearby and not busy. We will hold back in some situations because we have tons of stuff to deal with ourselves.

Organization

Our guild focuses on teamwork, teamwork is how we roll in PvP.

If you're expected to be well respected and geared in RoC, you'll have to show us you'll offer your time to help other members as well. We don't need greedy members that only care for themselves. Everyone in this guild are hard working players, in both virtual world and in reality.

Why should we help you, if you don't help us? That's basically it. If you expect to get any help from us, be sure you have time to help us when we need it. We need you to show us your loyalty to the guild; we want you to show us how confident you are and how serious you are.

Our organization goes towards Ventrilo. A microphone isn't too demanding, but it's highly recommended. I'll also give you a hint here and there to get out and get a microphone cause I can't stand your abilities/lack of communication without one. If you do have a microphone, please ensure it's at good quality; we can go into testing when time comes. If you wish to be competitive and catch our attention, get a microphone, but a headset is preferred.

If you leave our guild once, it's pretty much over. You will not get invited back unless you provide an outstanding reason. Then we'll go into a guild vote.

Distribute

Our guild has certain level of ranks, by ranks we mean cores, we don't care about ranking positions. We have a guild leader and several cores. There will always be drama over loots, but I'll be the one making all the decisions along with few other cores. Any final complaints go to me. We're not into this whole "Point system" and all this ridiculous "Fair system" that guilds generate. We just stick it simple, plain and easy. I have lead RoC for years, and having a good loot system isn't necessary. Members who usually causes drama over loots are kicked out, so we never encounter these problems often.

If you're interested in joining our guild, please visit our applicants section and read carefully. If you can't do the application correctly, I won't bother reading it and it will be denied automatically. All new members that are accepted into RoC will be assigned to "New members" aka "Try outs" position. It doesn't take long to be approved as a real RoC member. We just need to see if you were being realistic on your application. We expect your application to be accurate.

Thanks for your time and interest in our guild.

Updating with an Event information.

Events - Sneak Peak

THIS IS A SNEAK PEAK, WE HAVE MORE PLANNED EVENTS.

PvP Training Tournaments (Outnumbered and outclassed) - Once or twice every week.

You are assigned with a group to fight outnumbered and outclassed guild mates. (This means, 2v3 or 3v4-5, 6v7-8 and most importantly 12 vs 15 [?]) This will improve group work as well as friendship and guild/party organization. This task is created for you to learn how to fight outnumbered and outclassed. Yes, it will be unfair, but you'll have to suck it up. Teams may be even eventually in the end if all the underplayer team loses.

Pre-assigned groups will be available, however, you will be forced to play with other guild mates even if their ability doesn't match up with yours. You need to help them improve their PvP skills.

The rules are as follows;

* The matches will involve a team consisting 2-6 members vsing 3-9 members.
* Last man standing on team A or B will declare the winner and advance to the next opponent.
* All buffs (including potions and scrolls) can be used right before the beginning of the match. However, teams that don’t include chanters or clerics must remove any buffs from them.
