We are a guild that takes our gaming seriously. From group pvp and sieges to instances and raids, you'll find us at the forefront. Not content to watch and emulate others, we discuss and implement new strategies BEFORE they are needed. Our goal is to be the best, to stay two or three steps ahead of the others.

We are not perfect, we occasionally lose. However, losing is an opportunity to learn and we seize that opportunity fully. After each battle we talk through what happened, what worked and what went wrong. People that screw up are singled out and shown how to do it better. Those who refuse to learn will be sent packing.

Elite is a team, we work together no matter what.

Not everyone is a fit for this team though. We are rude, we are crass, we do not play politics well. If you are great we will let you know, if you suck we'll let you know.. we do not beat around the bush..

We are watching other guilds whom we know to be competent in PVP. Our choice of server will be heavily dependent on where the "uber"  guilds go. We are here for a challenge. There is no challenge in face rolling a bunch of noobs.

We will be rolling Elyos on launch.

Play time exceeding forty hours per week minimum.
Fast leveling pace. (No sitting around looking at the pretty clouds..)
Ventrilo with decent headset and mic.
Ability to learn and follow directions explicitly.
Basic tactical awareness. (Where is the enemy? Healers? Likely Reinforcement routes etc..)

Elite is currently looking for establishing a good base of players for going into US live. We need 10-15 more players to hit the mark needed. This is the first time we have openly recruited EVER and accordingly we are going to be cautious in whom we invite.

Accepted applicants will remain as "recruits" until we have had a chance to evaluate their play style and quality in PvP.

Updated to reflect we have rethought our race decision. Our goal is to have a challenge in our opponents. We have decided it is still to early to tell which race will provide that.  As retail approaches we will make our decision based solely on where we find the best challenge and in turn the most fun.

1) How Long have you guys been around?

Also, no offense but some constructive criticism for a group name such as "elite" your forum design looks pretty gimp :p you guys should have a better looking website to attract new members.

Hope PvP don't get out of control in Aion, but somtimes a bit of chaos is a good thing.

As Elite about a year. Our core players however have played together much longer.

The guild was formed in Warhammer. Our roots as players though come from UO/EQ/DAOC

I'd have to say CST. (I'm in EST) We are at our most active 7pm EST - 3am EST.

5) Do you plan on playing in PVP or PVE servers? Umm.. You do know what game this is right?

As for the website. I do not really care if it is the best out there. Just something usable. If you need your guild to have a pretty website then your not for us anyway. 

Why in the hell would you need principle to kill someone in PvP in an RvR game???

If you see an enemy and you have the opportunity to kill it, it dies..

Guilds that require the same time investment as a 40 hour job (literally!) are kind of funny. At least you guy's don't have the 60 hour a week requirement that "Flawless" does.

No we do not have the 60/week requirement. Most of our members do play that much though.

I've been playing against "Elite" for awhile on Volkmar and would have to say there Premades are top notch. I have not had the privelage to play with them but i have had the privelage to play against them and there damn good!! Recommended....

Recruitment is closed and will more than likely stay that way for good.

The exceptions being:

People we know and have played with/against before. If we know someone is a top quality player we will take them at any time. (Unless we've maxxed out which we have not.)

Once at endgame we may recruit by invite. This is the manner we normally recruit. When we do things this way if your invited your invited as a full member. We've already watched you for long enough of an "app".
