So, I quit warhammer in January as a 40 IB.

Basically, my computer sucked.  Suffered massive load times and significant lag during tier 4 sieges.

However, i'm going to pick up a new computer.

How would life in WAR be for a 40 IB?  Is it worth my return?  RvR good?  Are people still playing?

Thanks

Battlestar Reloaded is browser based and totally free (no options to pay whatsoever). It's a space based browser game where you construct your own space empire while warring and allying with others doing the same.

CC is still out of control in T3 and T4 imo, same with aoe. hope to see some progress to bring me back, cause it does have potentiel.

Your computer really doesn't matter with this game you could have a top of range model and the game will still run like crap, however seeing as you haven't been subbed for ages you are entitled to a 10 day free trial so use that to see if you want to sub again.

Mine hardly had issues. other than the server issues

a 10 day trials a good idea, and the game is much better , i personnaly feel that u need to be on one of the top populated server tho.

Cool.  Thanks for the initial thoughts.

I may have to try out the free 10 days.

Any thoughts on a different game that's still pvp focused?

I've been hearing that Eve actually has some pvp potential.

If I would have answered this 2 weeks ago, I would have said HELL NO dont Go. But since then they just did some server merges so their is plenty of action, and this Thursday a major patch is coming in to curb AE and CC. So I would at least check it out after Thursday to see how the new patch feels with a larger playerbase.

As for your question about 40 IB, the Ironbreaker is still considered one of the best tanks in the game and you can run bomb groups with them as well as one of the better pve tanks as well. Can't go wrong with the IB.

Get some ISK and spend at least 6 months training your skills in EVE, then you will find a good corporation and will have a blast.
