I just need to rant because you hit the nail on the head with #2. Sci-Fi channel or SyFy (retarded) has completely lost its touch with their viewers. If they spent even close to the amount of money they put into commercials for the channel than what they put into their movies they might be half decent. How many movies can you honestly make about mummies, giant snakes, giant mummies, or giant snakes vs giant mummies. The only good thing coming out even is the new SGU which sounds like a mix between Star Trek Voyager and Farscape. I will give them that Warehouse 13 is somewhat decent but to early to tell how it will fair and Eureka still rocks though. Perhaps they need to hire some new writers so they can mix it up a bit. |

I have to say the biggest event among those should be the Avatar screening. Say what you will about Cameron, but he's always known how to push the limits of filmmaking technology. I'm going to read up on what people think about that one.

1. NCsoft's last desperate attempt at reviving COH/COV but it will not make one bit of difference when Champions Online is released. 2. Starwars gameplay vids please! 3. I know it is not the mmo but Runic Games and Torchlight deserves a mention. Everyone loved it at E3 this year. |

I admit I'm a geek, but I'm a mongrel before I'm a geek. Give me full coverage of Olivia Munn in that Leia costume (or any tiny wardrobe for that matter) and I'm a happy guy. No godless person can comprehend those minute distinctions |

She has no boobs and wears underwear with the outfit. Massive fail.
Although she did apparently hold a record for "World's Strongest Vagina", so I guess that's something to be proud of. |

Nice review of what’s coming up for Comicscon MMO wise. One thing though what graphic boundaries will Aion be pushing? No MMO exists that can beat AoC graphically, I think he is getting a bit caught up in the Aion hype there. For me once Aion launches it will become the second best MMO graphically we can play in the west, but that’s not pushing any boundaries is it? |

Being fat is not funny. Being fat and dressing up as a Spartan from 300 is funny! There's lots of costumes an overweight man with a little self-awareness could pull off. A Spartan is not one of them, and just like a (hairy, skeevy-looking) man dressing up as Faye from Cowboy Bebop is funny, so is this. It's not the fat - it's the complete incongruity of character to player. |

Thanks for clearing that up. You see, sometimes I fail to see the joke, but then it gets thoroughly explained to me, and suddenly, I'm weeping from painful mirth. |

She wasn't at a convention dressed like that though where anyone could walk up and brush things out of the way. Nor would just the right shot at the wrong time have shown up in public (plus, images showing up on the internet at the time wasn't a concern). It's very different. With that outfit, there are ways to wear "cover" without it showing at the sides. It's likely though that in Olivia's case, the costume was dropped on her last minute and didn't take the "cover without showing cover" into consideration, so she had to wear what she was wearing at the time (my guess is she would've picked a more flattering color for underwear had she known). |

I want to see the Avatar trailer. Don't care about the nerds in costumes, or the mediocre overhyped mmos. |

I wish I could be there for the SWTOR open booth. That is going to be epic.

If you think ComicCon is crazy, try DragonCon where 70000 dress up in costumes, have a parade and then stink up the top 5 5 star hotels in Atlanta in September in 90 degree heat for 4 days. Now that's fun! Not only comics, but fantasy, scifi, games, mmo's, TCG's, authoris, movies, tv...from anime to vampire horror to 300, knights of the round to klingons and 501st..its all there in all its glorious nerdom....
Excellent shot of Munn BTW....gotz new background screen... http://www.forceofarms.com/index.php |

I dont share your opinion. Lord of the Rings Online has better graphics than AoC. The foliage sticks out like a painted eyesore in AoC while in LOTR things just blend together so much better. |

I would have to agree. AoC's foilage sticks out, but LOTRO's works so well, and blends beautifully. I would have to say then, that LOTRO is..breathtaking, graphically. My computer committed suicide when I tried to play it. <_<
But yeah. Overall this list is great. I'll tune into G4 this ComicCon, but the only two things I'll actually want to see is the TOR Panel - which will be epic, imho - and the Avatar screening. Both seem to be good, so I'll be tuning in for them. Heh. Other than that..meh. I don't care for Olivia Munn; shes just a..well. A bad word that I'll refrain from saying starting with a B, and her costar is a similar one, only him being a Major D-bag.
Those are my opinions and mine only. But mrh. I still stand by them. >-> |

I am a fan of the LotR MMO myself, the graphics are fine but not the best out there. AoC is still hands down winner in the areas of graphic and music, that alone does not make a great game though. More importantly like the raging slave Leia debate shows, oldies are best, these new cheap F2P Leia wannabies don’t have the figure, beauty or class of the old. :) |

I really don't understand why people like her that much, shes hotter than most people on G4 but when I hear her she's so freaking annoying I think my ears are going to bleed out. I'm not sure if its a personality given to her by the shows writers or if its her actual personality/voice, but it just kills it for me. I can't look at her without my brain having a horrible ringing sensation. P.S. It has nothing to do with her playing/not playing video games. If she doesn't I'd be surprised. |
