Its on their front page by the shops.

Oh and for people that don't have a beta account yet this download is pretty worthless.

No, its not wortless.

Even if you dont have beta account you can still seed for the ones who do have and this way help the game and community,

Plus it will save you time for when you actually will have to download the game.

No you don't pay to beta test, you are either selected or you get the gift of a spot in beta for pre-ordering their game.

Yea your right that it will help seed but until I see how the patcher works not sure if it will help when the game is released since you might only be able to patch after you log in.

I'm very interested to hear what people share about this game.

So far I've heard the first guy that pre-ordered payed $5,100, the crafting system is very customizable, it's beta stage is very early in development, and 50/50 say it's better/worse then DF.

[(T+G=W)=Gr*Nf]-S=FoF
T=Time G=Gear W=Win Gr=Grind Nf=NoFun S=Skill FoF=FullofFail

Yes it should be very broad of a crafting system I truly cant wait, but also just so no one freaks out the reason behind the first copy selling for 5 grand is because Starvault donated the profits from that copy to a charity.

Yes if you pay now, you will be testing a game in ALPHA. They have not even finished building the combat system.... let alone advanced features to cal it beta.

You are paying for the game, and will get the game with this money as well, but it will not be a fully functional game for over a year, anyone who thinks otherwise can look at Age of Conan, a game with tons more developers, tons more money and it took them a year just to get their game out of beta and that was almost finished at launch.

basically you are paying to fund the developers to finish the game...

We thank you for your words of wisdom, O Oracle. Could you tell me which horse to bet on next week, too?

Seriously, though. The devs stated they are releasing with the core features, and will add the rest in patches. Don't like it, don't buy. It's all straightforward, nobody's trying to con you out of your money. For me personally, if those core features will be implemented well, that is enough.

The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.

Does it really matter whether I pay them for the game to help fund them to build a game I believe in and want to see finished rather than wait to see if they will even finish the game without help from their followers and than buy the game. Id rather help them now, people who don't care about the game can just not order it. I don't understand why you have to make it look like the Devs are trying to cheat us, the people that have bought the pre-order either want to help or just don't care about money.

Lol nice anime, my thoughts exactly.

I am actually looking forward to this game, devs seem honest and regal in their goals and seems to have a lot of systems that I would like.

But I refuse to pay $75, in this economy, for something so unfinished that's just crazy.  Also, I'm one of those few that got sucked into D&L and bought that, made the vow to never again make such a stupid decision.

I'm grateful there was enough of you to buy the game to keep the development going, it just wasn't going to be me.
