Omg (personally im just here to kill people and cause damage), haha that was so sweet. I really cant wait for this game now, the actually ingame footage makes it looks so much better than what we have been seeing. I mean the character models dont look as wacky as i first thought them out to be. I dont know about anyone else but SWTOR just became my WoW killer awesome vid

I loved how we got to see some new details in the Video Documentary, like the UI and Dialog Menu.

The only good thing they showed off int hat video was the voice overs but I even hate the kiddy graphics. They don't even look nice like World of Warcrafts, they just look cheap, kiddy, plastic and don't even suit star wars.

Not impresssed and doesn't give me much hope for mmorpgs in the future.

You do know it's rough around the edges now, right? The game is still in an early stage, but even now, they have something they can present. Something solid. Which is much more than most games can deliver at this point in the development cycle.

I think it's further along than Bioware are leading us to believe and I think the final game will look mostly like that video. Things like the ugly character models wont change.

I just think it looks terrible and don't understand why anyone can think that looks good. Is everyone like 16 years old on these forums and grew up with the new movies? Cause anyone who grew up with the original movies like I did wouldn't like it. I show that video to my Star Wars friends and it would just make them hate Star Wars even more than they do after the new movies.

Please never ever speak for me again. I grew up to be a fan of the Original trilogy movies and I have no problem whatsoever with the graphics, the models or the animations. 

Perhaps this phrase will tide you over: "To each their own." 

We all have different tastes. Just because you don't like it, does not mean everyone else thinks the same way.

I love the video! Each time we get a new one it shows more of what the game is about. The interface looks enjoyable, easy to understand and it does look like a cinematic film we are playing through. I look forward to more from Bioware.

Its awesome to see some new footage of the UI, voice overs and combat scenes. 

With people saying the graphics are "poor" or whatnot, well they aint designing this game to be "realistic" , and personally i really love the creative elements that have put in the graphical presentation in this game so far. It looks very artistic and epic the way they have done it!

Heres one question that will pop up now - "Will your character have the option to choose his or her's own voice" - I cannot see every jedi/BH etc etc have the same voice lol - or have one different voice for each class.

By the way, the characters voice sounded, umm batman? I don't know but it sounded familiar.

Voice overs sound good and look cool.

The "art-style" and character models looks like complete shit.

I also didn't see ANY MMO in that trailer.

I grew up with the original movies and toys so you my friend dont speak for me or many of the other SW fans. I find the graphics rather impressive. You mentioned how WoW looks better i dont think so, all the male character models are deformed or have gender issues. I am glad however that we will be free of your type of players in game

I was over on the WoW forums, looks like people over there are starting to take notice of the game as well. The thread was pretty positive for a WoW forum thread to say the least. Im surprised blizzard hasnt moved or deleted it, At this rate if Bioware stays on focus it might take a big chunk of the WoW player base and, no im saying the SWTOR is going to kill WoW. Just saying that Bioware could possibly be the first developers since WoW been operating to take a hefty chunk of the WoW subs.

People are talking about the VO work and the story line and all that good stuff, so it would seem that people do give a crap about story and voice acting.

Looks and sounds great, but I hate the BH's Duke Nukem gruntiness.

I also grew up with the old movies and what you are saying makes no sense. You are not even saying why everyone that grew up with the old movies would not like this, please develop this statement so someone could actually understand any of your forum trolling? Thanks. Also you are fairly certain what your friends will like and not even without asking them, sounds hilarious to me.

You say that the characters look too kiddy and such and then in the same sentence you state that WoWs chars do no look kiddy? I think you need an appointment at the ophthalmologist to check your eyesight. WoW has cartoon chars which in sense makes them the most kiddy graphics around, ie, cartoons is for kids, therefore, cartoon chars is kiddy chars.

Graphics hardly make a game, just look at WoW, all the chars look absolutely ridiculous, I used to play a rogue gnome, it was great fun for some months, no one cares about graphics, it is gameplay that matters. If you want top of the crop graphics I suggest taking up an FPS.

Cartoons arnt just for kids, thats the general view of any one that has never seen: Clone wars, Animatrix, Samurai Jack, and a slew of the more Mature animes.

Yes these are a bit more cartoony than other MMOs, granted most MMOs had terrible sales beyond the initial sale so you sould say they are doing the currect thing from a buisness stand point. (dont copy people that fail at making what your trying to make.)

Game looks good, maybe a bit slow compared to WoW in action, as in chars stop and fight rather than constantly on the move but that could be just pve that we are watching in which most mmos have very non movement based fighting which would mean it cant really be viewed all that well.

Will be interesting to see if this game pushes the market into forcing (no pun intended.) to develope MMOs to require voice acting rather than just just text, that is probably one of the areas that might give this game a real shot.

Well the ambitious idea to include full voice overs for the entire game just sold it to me, I've felt so immersed whenever I've been able to play a game that has included voice-overs.

The starting area of Tortage in AoC included full voice overs and was the most popular area of the game, Everquest 2 had a great deal of voice-overs and those parts of the game for me personally where the most fun parts.

The videos I have seen so far have really impressed me, and I'm thoroughly looking forward to jumping back into a Starwars MMO since Galaxies.

With the added bonus of a story driven MMO I'm sure it will bring me plenty of weekends of lightsaber slaying action =).
