When will these companies get a clue... partner with someone who can handle your traffic load... You could probably get someone to do it for free to you because of the ad impressions...

I few thousand people?  Thats not a huge load for most popular web sites.  If you saw before, there was a max of about 1500 members online.  Thats too much for their humble servers, but for any bigger company they should handle it with no problem.

maybe they clogged it up on purpose so they can delay without looking like it was their fault... absolutely no reason why the page wasn't ready to go and be fired up on time, despite it being clogged up

there is no way anyone can get through with these ideots refreshing 10(!) tabs at once

I got through a couple times to another page then timed out or got the forbidden error.

There is nobody to "partner" with..such massive F5ing is similar to a DDOS attack and those can even put pentagon servers on a serious load.

It was a typo, settle down.

It will be up in twenty minutes.

I think Darkfall's account minigame was more enjoyable. I find this one boring.

If you realize that there wouldnt be a reason for people to F5 the shit out of their browsers if the server could handle it, then yes a decent sized company could handle this no problem.  Its the fact that as soon as the server gets overloaded people start to panic and spam the servers even more, hoping that will fix it.

So....... I guess we wait........ *facepalm*
