"FIGHT THE MAN...Harness the power of Breakfast Cereals"

7/12/09 2:25:08 AM#51

I'm going to name myself Honky Man and then complain that they're discrinimating against white people.

If you are not of Bohemian ancestry, you cant use that term. You are a cracker, not a honky then.

I have a feeling I am missing something funny behind this name. If it is not safe for forums id like a pm :p

You see I'm asian, Hmong to be exact. Just FYI the only people that says things like that are the Japanese, because they dont have a pronounciation of the L sound the closest they come to is the R which if you speak Japanese fluent it makes sense kinda. And to tell you the truth, I am offended because some people generalize that all asians speak this way.

This is something the OP really needs to understand. Although it might not offend some people, there will always be other people of that "orientation" that will get offended.

Ahh ok. I ment no offense in asking, just never heard that name associated with "asians" before.

Rotsa Brocori translated from engrish into english is Lots of Broccoli. Broccoli is a staple of many asian food dishes. You can google engrish on your own.

What difference does it make.  Everyone seems to use any word that references us, as insults.  Gay, ghey, queer, fag, faggot, puffta, homosexual, homo, mo, so on and so forth have either been used against me or  against others in an insulting way.  None of them have a good connotation anymore if they ever did.  I've learned to just automatically ignore haters, but I sometimes wonder how you guys would react if it became common to use the words "straight"  or "hetero" as a curse or as a reference to something that is stupid.

I'm fairly certain they block the name because they're more worried about offending straights or Christians than anyone who is Gay.

You've obviously never read the Constitution. The 1st Amendment does not apply to video games. In fact, it specifically states 'Congress shall make no law' in it's definition of 'free speech'.

Last time I checked, Cryptic was not Congress.

OMG... QQ? Just kill me now. How can you stick up for this guy when his post makes him sound like he just drenched his keyboard in tears. This is likely the gheyist post ever.

Other people get called shit all the time, I hang out with two black people on vent all the time and drop the N-word at least once an hour. They were offended at first, then they realized that it didn't mean ANYTHING! Get over it or play games that appeal to people that can't handle the banter.

Wow, just wow.  Where the hell does all this crap of yours come from?  I'm not the one crying, you are.  Maybe you should try understanding what it is you're reading next time before you fly off the handle like that.  Reading comprehension for the win.

Private or public, citizen or corporation, if you're located in the United States or it's territories, you must abide by the Constitution and it's Amendments.  Any service or product is included in this.  Lawsuits are filed and won against private companies and individuals who infringe these rights on a regular basis.  All it needs is someone to challenge it.

The passage you quoted means that no successive law can be made to circumvent the first amendment.

Another victim, eh? Id be hard pressed to think, each and everyone of us on this planet at some point in time of our lives, that we werent demeaned, made fun of, teased, joked on, screwed with, or belittled for a multitude of things. The way we look, speak, the sounds of our voice, the look of our clothes, our friends, and I could go on and on. Im sure you've never done it either(dont lie).

I have a solution...thicken your skin, rise above it, and stop thinking of yourself as a victim. What goes around comes around and those people are on a far lower level than their target. Turn the other cheek and dont let them get the best of you, by giving a fuck what they have to say about anything.

Reasonable people will reject those misanthrope from society far quicker than your indifferent preference.

I feel that a couple drops of tear gas would go a long way in helping them become recognized as crazy lunitics running in the street. Which is what they are. You don't see straight people running down the street like psychos and calling it a parade.

Really, you don't think so? How about those losers who march around in their white bed sheets and boyscout uniforms with the Swastika armbands? They hold parades too ya know. You don't think those guys are "lunitics"?

Now they're all coming out of the woodwork... Parades in general are such a fail concept and nothing but a drain on the econmy for selfish gain... The only reason there should be a parade ever is to welcome home the troops...

The gay pride parade is alsmost as bad as the PR day parade... Almost as bad as seeing guys flamboyantly frolicking around the streets with their butterfly wings and banana hamoks on is the PR's with the 85' corolla with the spiner hubcaps and a full size PR flag across their hood blasting daddy yankee...

Yes, I fuckin do think they are far worse than lunatics. They are also a near dead breed and have so few that traffic in that kinda shit they should be ignored into distinction. Society has and will always struggle with the fringe, but it doesnt represent our nation and its people.

I get fired up about that side of the fringe, but what about the other side...Code Pink...eeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhh god I need to take a shower in kerosine!!

you named yourself "queer cop" they thought you were the anti gay police out to rodney king the queers.  wasnt politically correct, just as picking on people for being gay isnt politically correct.  you cant have it both ways either you can have people get in trouble over using words like queer whether intended as an insult or not get in trouble in the game or you cant get mad when people do.

Yes I did, and I passed it. I doubt you did. That constition applies to the government.

Amendment 1 - Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression. Ratified 12/15/1791. Note

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Also, you still dont post any proof to support your claims of court cases.

You must not read up on these things much.  TOSs get challenged and beaten all the time in court.  So do contracts and everything else under the sun that violates the Constitution and is willing to be challenged.
