Everyone talking about how much the game has changed since launch. I just want to know one thing. Is my HoX still gonna be running around in the same robe and same sword graphic till theyre lvl 50

They added more.  They added more for lower levels, and they added PvP items as well.  Although i'm not sure how much.  I think they might have added more via crafting as well.  At level 65-69 I looked really gimp, but I have some really great 71-72 items waiting.  This was always one of the major problems for me as well.  I'll be playing the game probably until Aion releases and maybe return again later on to experience the content.  I'll let you know what I find when I reactivate this weekend.

Not sure about the HOX specifically, but in general ye, a lot of new armor and looks have been added.

You won't get neon coloured two meter tall shoulder pads and staffs with rotating pink balls, but if that is your cup of tea, I'd reccomend WoW or Aion.

heres my question, are they ever going to fix the DX10 nvidia issue that would cause me to rollback my drivers to ancient ones in order to play?  cause i really do not want to do that, so i am letting my free time rot.

Not sure I understood that, but are you saying that you have to use old drivers to get your Nvidia-card to work with AoC? I always heard that AoC was optimized for Nvidia, and I've been using ATI (4870) with great luck.

Try checking the sticky or Nvidias support (and AoC forum ofc, if you have an account)

i already have dude, why do you think i posted this?  I tried to go back with my free trial and run it on DX10, just got a black screen, the only fix  was to rollback my drivers....no thank you.

can't tell you about armor or such but remember the old man on fire bug with the HoX after using Hellbreath where you ran around in flame on mode occasionaly till you zoned. Well it is still there.

I noticed the subscription page is still as convoluted as I remember. After digging around on it ten different ways I have only come to find that they expect a cc number to reactivate an account in order to receive the re evaluation period trial..which is ticking away as we speak. Has anyone found a way through that mess short of contacting the support people? ( which i have done but after several hours of re install and patching was too late friday evening) I read a 4 page thread with alot of that info. here the other day but it's been buried and I'm tired of digging.

You would tend to suspect if a game company wanted people to come back...they would do a better job at making that as easy as possible. I'm only getting the feeling I've made a trip into a desert to see sand.
