its ok to win that.. but.. can we really call it WINNING, for its only kinda demo.

but actually its not so true to say " we won the game", it IS a 30day trial, and i am sure i will love these 30 days :-)

Most MMOS come with 30 days free after you buy a copy.  You have the full game.

Have fun downloading 30+gb :) Or are they sending you a box?

its more like an 10 gb download with a 1gb patch now

I recieved a key then an email saying disregard the winning key. mmorpg said since I won a cities xl key they would revoke the AoC. Wish I knew that so I could trade my cities xl beta key.

I think it is a 13.5GB download and a 1GB patch. I'm downloading Aion Online too. Wow, 30 days, gonna save me 5 bucks from amazon.

The OP obviously has never played anything other than free-to-play games, so the concept of 30 days free and then having to pay is lost on him. Therefore, in his mind, it must only be a "trial".

cause my connection is a bit slow..

It's not a 30 days trial, yes you get 30 free days like every other mmo you buy on the market.

Your 30days starts when you create your account. But you can download the game BEFORE creating account! Its not necessary to have account when downloading and patching.

And sorry, I dont get your first post. But if you take it other way, most single games you finish after 1-2 days. In AoC (or MMOS generaly) you still have content to play after 30 days. If you play AoC like single player game, you get plenty of fun for FREE!

in former times.. games did last much longer .. u could play months.. and didnt finish ;D

then later.. some nice ones played still like a longplayer, even it was shorter (e.g. hereticII)..

but nowadays.. if u buy fullversion games.. they play like demos.

so its true.. some mmo have more "story" then single players.. and thats a very evil thing ;D
