Let us celebrate our thanks to MMORPG.com in here. My question is, what are you going to do with this 30 free copy? Are you going to give it away, will you play Age of Conan finally, or will you finally get the chance the try out the game you've always wanted?

 Option 3, downloading the game to give the chance it deserves and has given me.

I got a copy too! Good contest. They should do more of them.

Servers are zerg fests right now with all these new people from the 14day winback program.

The first time zerg is a good.

I was given notice that I had won a key, then 30 minutes later an email from mmorpg.com admin that it was an error...  Kinda dissapointing, I really wanted to give this one a try.  If anyone gets a key and decides not to use it, i'd be glad to take it off your hands.

 Going to download the game and try it out finally. Been wanting to but did not want to spend the money with all the bad press it has. But then I will do this soon as soon as I finally get the e-mail with the download information. I already confirmed my winning but no info as of yet on how to download.

Got a new PC so I finally get the chance to try the game out in its fullest.  :D

Very disappointing, just received this e-mail too. How can they give you a prize and then disappoint you like this?

We are very sorry but the email you received in the past 30-60 minutes from us stating that you won a digital download for Age of Conan was sent in error. You accidentally got this email because you recently won the beta contest for CitiesXL and our system had an error in the page designed to send the Age of Conan keys.
We have contacting FunCom and they are going to be invalidating these keys from their system so while they may appear to work now, any accounts created with these keys will likely be deactivated within the next 24-48 hours.
We are very sorry for this error. We hope you are enjoying the CitiesXL beta key you recently won at our site.

Same deal, won and then 30 mins later I didn't win, because I won a CitiesxL beta key.... wtf!  How annoying is mmorpg.com getting... gah.

Oh well congrats to all the winners.

So far so good with me. I even checked on the place where it confirms you name to be on it and it says that I won, so I hope I wasn't overpsyched for nothing.

Although, I can buy this game on Amazon for next to nothing, but I'd rather get it free.

Honestly? Try the game out, see if I like it. I'm at a period where I need a game to fill time between now and upcoming releases. I would be playing WoW, but being at the edge of content killed the game. I can't raid something over and over just cause there's nothing else to do.

The only previous experience I've had with AoC was a bit of the "Fileplanet" beta, and the client was so buggy that the most I did was create a character, and thwack a guy over the head with an oar a few times, after that I was doomed to crashes galore. I didn't bother with the game after release simply because of all the stuff I was reading and hearing. With them replacing Gaute (or whatever his name was) the game has gotten back into my interests, but I've been strapped for cash and didn't want to pay $40-50 for a new MMO, and I want to experience more than what a trial restricts you to.

I won but have yet to receive a link to download the game or even a key for the game.  I confirmed and when I log in it shows it as confirmed but still nothing.  Have you guys actually received the link and keys?

I won a key also, I'll be giving it a try.  Have heard many bad things but eh, I'd rather take a look myself, maybe I'll like it.

They say allow 48 hours before you get the email to download.

For those of us who have not gotten our key yet can you post the link to download the game and get us started atleast?

I was kind of hoping I could get like $10 for it, and I might still try (although amazon is so cheap I doubt anyone would buy it) but if that doesn't work I'll give it away for free.

Oh well, it's almost ironic that I won a copy really lol.

I confirmed mine and now am just waiting for the email with the d/l link.

I plan to d/l and play it since i'm in between mmo's atm. I've stayed away from this one because of the negative things i have heard, so i'll give it a fair shake since it's free...

Same for me, I never tried it because of how bad everything I read about it was.  Can't beat free though, may as well try it.  If they ever send this link that is.....

i played beta preordered played till 12 and quit lol, i never played more than that and honestly i don't remeber why i quit. i might give it another go. or give it to a friend let him take a shot.

I already have an account. I'm giving this to a friend that's played MMO's with me since 1999 but doesn't want to make an initial investment on a game that he might not like. (7 day trials just aren't enough, you know?)

I had 5 tickets in and still won, I was considering myself lucky, but I guess your luck was higher...
