Just tried to log into game and got a Incompatible Protocol

so i think game needs re downloading but their website down also ..

just wondering if anyone else got this problem?

I got the same issue as the OP... im on verizon DSL in NJ .... I can browse the internet fine /shrug

I sometimes get those issues, try it in a sifferent browser, usually helps =]

I can login to the game without problems, but cannot access eveonline.com. I've asked few friends, and they have the same problem. I'm in Poland on TPSA ADSL connection.

The website is back up... and my game issue was a patch missing... seems the game login did not notify that the new patch was out... had to DL direct... was just coincidence that IK had a game issue when the website was down leading me to think it was a server side issue... :)

Also haven't been able to each the main website for two days now. Getting server error. Tried several browsers on two different computers running different Windows versions. To no avail.

Can reach the https secure and support sites, though that doesn't help much :)

If your a forum junkie and need a fix use Eve-Search.com (cached forums).

i made a petition from ingame but i cant see any petition mostly because use http

Yep, me too. Tried both Firefox and IE, but haven't been able to log on for almost 3 days now.

This could actually be fairly serious for someone needing to access their account. I wonder if CCP didn't pay their network bill!

I'm experiencing the same problem.  Can't access it in on my computer with IE or Firefox over my ATT dsl, but I can tether to my T-mobile blackberry and then the site works fine.  Funny thing is it looks like a server problem on their end.  I get a 500 HTTP error code and a message about classic ASP programming - from firefox.

I get the same error as well.  IE or Firefox.

u can load the eve web page if u youse things like http://ztunnel.com/ or tor

this is not your PC is CCP problem  so make a petition ingame

Yes, it's as vague as it gets, but now we at least know that they're aware of the issue.  :)

Nice to see they are on it. Still getting that  "HTTP 500 - Interner Serverfehler" Error with 2 different browsers and even with the ingame-browser, while everything is fine for most people i asked in game.
