Gah, the game HAS to be better than warhammer, don't think it could be worse.  Also, I hear a rumor, just a rumor mind you, that they will be getting rid of the player avatar offline merchants...lets hope!

BTW, when is the next beta?  I haven't played it yet and 9/22/09 is like 2.5 months away.  When's the NA open beta or even just the next NA beta?

Asian style mmo's rox teh sox.  They are teh uber.  Throw away previous preminitions.  Next Closed beta is like the 17th of July.  Last I heard, there's an Open Beta planned for sometime in August.  I would venture to imagine near the end of August.

funny thing is, everquest did this first so people could sell their items, BTW AION HAS AN AUCTION HOUSE.

Wow, I'm getting smart ass remarks for posting about a game that I'm planning on playing.  Why are the fan boy/anti troll people posting troll-like remarks?  Haven't read much in this forum but is it so bad that people pounce on normal posts, now?

Thanks so much for the reply!  Can you get in the closed betas by pre-ordering?  I've watched dozens of videos about this game and talked to friends that have played it; definately looks like a game to play when it becomes westernized.

although outdated, i really like PC stores, it beats spamming trade chat about selling bulk items so the AH doesn't take a cut of your golds >_>. once ppl get used to the idea you will stop seeing half a billion of them in the town square and only find a few that are selling crafting mats and rare items, like in other games that have a PCstore option

you can also turn off the avatars if they are bothering you, its like Alt+F12 (or something)

Setsunaki, thanks for the info.  That helps alot!  Its not that I mind player merchants, its just having so many in a small area.  I didn't mind it in Ultima Online but it was spread out among the housing.  I remember playing Lineage and having to check each and every one of them; talk about a time sink!  Anyways, with having an Auction House in the game, I hope you're right and the individual player avatars are limited.

Yes if you preorder you can get into the beta , afaik some gamestops still have the $5 preorder cases which will save you from having to preorder the entire game just in case you decide that you do not like it , and in my opinion Aion > Warhammer even in its beta stages , Warhammer is too buggy for my taste, saddly i played from release up till last month before admitting it.
