If you’re carrying nothing it won’t weigh you down

If Wii Sports Resort was to take over from Wii Sports as the pack-in title with the console, it would serve its purpose well. For the time being, however, it’s not, so the questions are: is this game worth paying for, and will we come back to it? The answer to both those questions is ‘no’. For Wii Sports diehards, Wii Sports Resort will be worth a look, but for the rest of us – especially those who’ve thrashed Bowling to death already, this is a patchy offering more notable for its missed opportunities than its successes.

Now I occasionally go out to a bar and play wii bowling for the chance of winning bar & grill gift certificates. it was more fun when we had teams and we could bowl twice and use our best scores (now we have single elimination and no teams) ; but I was hoping Wii Sports Resort would have a game that could have a huge bar following like the original wii sports bowling (and no I don't think a the Wii Sports Resort bowling game would be much of a replacement.

My top score recorded at the bar was 290. 11 strikes in a row.

I couldnt ever get into the Wii

I dont know why....i do like the concept of it all. I guess im just too much of an anti anything Mario. I used to like it in the 80s but I'm burnt out on it and I am kinda a graphics whore too :oP

the last game I enjoyed on the wii was Zelda. The only one I still play is Wii Sports (for bar reasons).

soooo I understand where you are coming from.

I have a Wii Fit and a Shaun White snowboarding game... I have barely touched it (granted the wii fit board makes it harder to play than just using the remote). I beat Smash Brothers but barely ever played it online or with friends. I can't really think of any other wii games I own even though I must own about 8 of them.

me and my fiance use our wii quite a bit off and on.  It collects dust for a couple months, then we break it out and use it daily.

anyone played Wii Active?  How does it compare to the standar wii fit game?

Yeah Wii isnt worth it... there aren't any really really good games that will make the public to go out and purchase
