Well guys im real sorry to bother you all again but i could use some advice, ive played wow for 2 years i guess on and off and have a level 80 with fair gear not great but fairly good, and ive played lotro for about a month or two and have a 21 or 22 burglar on there and am just wondering does anyone have any advice on which one to resub to, cause im only wanting to play one if i play either. Thanks

I would say... WoW actually.. i'm thinking of going back from LotRO... though LotRO is also a fun game. *shrug* basically go where ever you have the most friends because that's where you'll probably have the most fun.

Neither, save your money for a game that is actually worth a subscription.

The lesser of crappy games though would have to be WoW, much larger world, world and scenario pvp, more stuff to do overall.

I was kind of in the same boat (although my tenure at LOTRO is a lot shorter) and eventually I chose WOW. WOW just feel more polished in general and I like its classes better.

LOTRO is good too .. so it is a close decision.

There is a lot of WoW hate out there, dont let that influence you however. WoW remains one of the best all around games out there at the moment. The biggest issue is with WoW fatigue. LOTRO is one of the best MMOs people arnt playing. As a whole, I would say that players on LOTRO seem happier than those on WoW. HOwever, if you like PvP, then LOTRO is not your game and go with WoW

In the end, WoW (*ducks head*) and LOTRO are both very good games.

It has become trendy on these boards to WoW bash. Fact is, pound for pound, nobody does it better then Blizzard...

Depends on which you like better. I think I like lotro better, but one gripe I have with it is the small number of classes and limited customization. I like the lore and the story better as well.

I haven't played WoW all that much but I kind of hate the cartoony graphics. Lotro's got a lot of fun PvE stuff to do...I'd say probably moreso than WoW. And in case you can't find a group - you can solo very easily! Also, the classes are balanced :)

I'm considering re-subcribing to either WAR or LOTRO as well. I'm currently playing WoW but I guess you could say I have WoW burn-out, which most people are experiencing these days. IMO no online game out right now beats WoW simply because of the overall content and how polished it is. And believe me, I've played all the big MMOs out right now.

What it really comes down to is whether pvp is important to you. I played LOTRO for almost 2 years and the PVP is very bland. If you only PVP you'll likely be bored in no time at all. WoW on the other hand has a very good mix of both PVE and PVP. So if you want a good mix of both defiently go with WOW. Both games have great PVE content so if PVE is your game, then either you'll enjoy.

If you want strictly PVP then try WAR. I've learned that I really enjoy PVP more so then PVE so I may re-sub to WAR simply because the game is very PVP focused.
