So I have been playing trial for now but when it ends should I buy the box or the card if I want to continue my trial account. I have to ask this here because Eve Online forums don't let trial accounts post anything.

My credit card doesn't work online so I have to buy it at local market. Box or Card if I want t ocontinue the trial?

Box comes with 30 days free with the reg key and a 30 day card (Or the key is for 60 days, cant remmber which) and I believe some special in-game goodies. Cost around $30, so it's worth it. Or could get a 30-day card, but what ever floats your boat.

60days sounds best but will it activate my account and change the account type from trial to whatever it will be?

You can activate a trial account using a game time card.  I activated my first EVE account this way - I simply purchased a 30 day GTC for $15, and used it to activate my account.  My account went from trial status to full subscription status, and I had my 30 days.

Now, 30 day GTCs have been done away with, so you can only purchase 60-day ones, but they work the same.  Or you can buy the box game, and actually have a hard copy.  It comes with 30 days of game-time.
