What can set this game apart is the rift faction warfare. What do we know about the depth of rift faction warfare ? |

Questions I would have....
are there siege engines.......describe fortress or tower fight structures....lenhth of fights......numbers of people you have seen involves....rewards for success in taking keeps/fortresses......can walls be knocked down...can keep door be knocked down....classes that shine in this activity...how often have the fights occurred..are they schedualed or random....are ther fights against other faction all the time or sometimes npc's.....does aguild or faction controll the forts....are they held until they are retaken by the other side....how do you know if there are fights going on you may want to join ? |

In the Abyss there are two types of capturable resources - Artifacts and Castles, that can be claimed by Legions (it's how Guilds/Clans are called in this game). Castles have a time before they can be retaken that is shown on mouse over, with a broadcast "Castle X is now capturable.", and they do have NPCs helping in the protection. The Abyss map has some useful information, which includes the icon if a capturable point is under attack, who owns it, which race is under control of that area and the time until next capturable period, and another specific one in the case a Balaur Carrier Ship is en route to a Castle (when the NPC faction decides to deal a massive attack, the circunstances for it to happen are unknown) along with a broadcast. There is much more to this, but my experience is theorical only, by looking into the map for the Abyss and a few Youtube videos. |
