Lately ive been looking for a new mmo i decided to download warhammer but frankly the download problems im already having make me regret my decision to resub. I have played wow for some time and play if off and on with my buddys but im getting rather old of the lvl up to X and then get good gear and then in another year or so have it all scrapped and rinse and repeat. Ive heard mixed reviews of runes of magic but im wondering if its really worth trying?? or should i give warhammer another chance but the patcher.prod.sig error i cant fix is getting really old (if anyone knows how to fix that itd be much appreciated).

Things i like about a mmo: Good end game and pve im not a huge fan of pvp except i did enjoy wars pvp system for the most part i can just never get the game to run properly making it more of a time sink then id like. I liked wows pve/raiding system the most of any game ive played to date but the heroic farming is a little excessive.

If anyone has a recommendation other than war wow or guildwars im open to suggestions i just dont really like playing f2p games because of the whole item shop issues/ asian grindfestness.

Why not give EQ2 or Lord of the Rings a try. They both have game trials so you can see if you enjoy them. There is also D&D online. It is now a free to play game. however you can still do a subscription, in which case you get all the content unlike the players playing free plus 500 of points to spend each month.

you remooved all decent possibilitys in your post (mmo)

only p2p game coming is aion and its only in september

you might want to try fps for a while or racing game

Hey bud, I'm in the same boat with WoW- I finally realized its terrible and just can't find the fun in it after coming back so many times for the same thing.

I'm currently playing WAR with my friend and having a good time (we played at launch) what operating system are you using? Maybe I can help you get it working.

Also I had posted a similar post to yours here a few days ago and was told to check out Ryzom. Yesterday I downloaded it and started the 23 day free trial. It definately is a different concept and I have found it to be pretty fun. The graphics are obviously not the best, but coming from WoW that really shouldn't be a problem. Maybe you can try that out and find some fun?

im running vista 64bit and i cant seem to get war to patch correctly

Have you tried running the patcher as admin?

 If you like to explore massive worlds and crazy dungeons give Vanguard a try. It has a 14 day trial so it won't cost you a penny to  try and if you don't like it oh well.
