what is better...

mithra at high lvl had 6 more dex on avg

and hume has 3 more str on avg

wouldnt mithra be better  because dex gives speed and accuracy?.

Im talking about any specific job because i wanna play them all

Also it is annoying most people assume im a girl when im a mithra and it is soem what weird

but if they truly better i guess its worth it

Both races are as good as each other, it doesn't matter what race you pick, the stats of a race don't matter, blah blah blah...

Now that that's out of the way, it really just depends on what job you want to play. DEX affects your accuracy, not your attack speed. The only thing that increases your attack speed is -weapon delay, and haste.

If you plan on playing Warrior, Monk, Dark Knight, Samurai, or any other type of DD job, you'll probably want to go Hume. DD jobs will benefit more from the slight increase in STR than they would from the increase to their DEX.

If you plan on playing Thief, Ranger, Corsair, or any job similar to those, Mithra might be best. Thief will benefit from the increased DEX, and Ranger and Corsair will benefit from the increased AGI.

Hume or Mithra, it really doesn't matter. Both races are pretty balanced. Although if you find it annoying that people assume you're a girl when playing a Mithra, you might want to go Hume.

Race stats don't matter unless you're hellbent on min-maxing. Mithra and Hume are the more balanced races, but Hume are all around average while Mithra trade some of their VIT and MND for DEX and AGI. I want to say that STR is pretty close for both races as well as INT and MP (which might be identical... I forget).

Your stats will ultimately be decided by your gear and food choice, so focus more on that than anything. DEX affects Accuracy, but it doesn't affect Accuracy as much as +Accuracy gear. Your stats might dictate what gear and food you want to use. Having more DEX means you focus more on STR gear and you can probably go easier on DEX or Accuracy gear  (though that's largely dependent on the mob you're fighting too. Some really dodgy ones might need Accuracy either way).

That being said, in certain situations a particular race will always outshine an equally-geared/fooded other race. Mithra, for example, will pretty much always outdamage a Hume as a Thief using Sneak Attack and Trick Attack because their multipliers are based on your DEX and AGI respectively. These situations seldom make or break a scenario though.

You'll have more fun just choosing the race you like more, trust me.
