I want their to be more NPC in game to give it a immersive feel.

I want my MMO to have icons over the heads of NPC I need to talk to to get / finish quests.

I want the MAP to show my location and where I can go.

I want the mini map to point out where I am

I want the mini map to point out where all of the other players are.

I want the compass to tell me where the quest items are located

I want the quest items to have a glowing aura to let me know they are what I need

I do not want to READ quests.

I want a story line.

I want to be able to travel to the ends of the map when I want in less than 5 minutes.

I want the world to be HUGE!

I want to be able to fly!

I want to have a home

I want it anywhere on the map

I do not want to have other houses on the map

I want mobs to drop uber items

I want to craft uber items

I want to be able to tell if a mob will kill me

I do not want a death penalty.

I want PvP

I do not want PvP when I lose

I want only PvE

Why are MMO's such a click fest grind?

I want to be at level cap right when I log in for the first time! And more importantly, I want a loot pinata giving me the best gear in the game. Though I don't want to have to walk to it; It comes to me.

I want an "I-WIN" button that lets me one-shot other players in PVP whenever the mood suits me.    Heck, I want it to one-shot everyone on the map when it suits me.

Could I worship you? That is the single best idea I've ever heard. I really, really hope you're not being sarcastic...

But what happens when two players press the ''I-WIN'' button ( have you trademarked it yet?) at the exact SAME MOMENT???!!!!

I want :

a real sandbox MMO(F+T)PSRPG, with a 100% seamless persistent world and epic PvP

I get:

crap. nothing more than crap. after almost 20 years of MMO gaming history, all the devs have done is pure, simple crap

1 million different people can point 1 million different flaws in WoW
WoW fanbois just have 1 reply: "you just hate it because its popular"

5 years and they have been mentally incapable of coming up with something better

OP is saying he wants everything

whereas some wants contradict other wants he mentioned previously

indicating that all in all, we all complain about everything, wanting a perfect game.

in order to create such a game, its mechanics would be to be changed on about a second to second basis.

stop complaining about your current game. dont play a game you dont like. the game isnt gonna change for you. no one is gonna make a game for you.

yea?

mm epic pvp, only one come to mind

guild wars ,if it asnt changed its not for the weak you might have to spend a while just to do  a group build yes its that evolved

most pvp baught the pvp kit of each witch im sorry to say is a must if you dont want to grind skill til you 99 years old

your not sure check on xfire or better if you got a friend ask him to show you ingame pvp match yes its a feature in guild wars its the best fraps i ever saw in my life and its supplied by game maker

take your time to see whats going on when you check pvp ,but be realistic most the pvp in guild wars are very good think of it as the next gen of chess

often group  will have 5 or 6 group build to make it very hard for foe to counter them. it is very hard to win repetitivly in guild wars

and i can say guild wars really represent whats going on in pvp

its literally guild WARS lol

close.

What I am saying is basically what one of the developers of a game once told me in a beta.  "Most gamers do not want what they are asking for.  You give it to them and they get bored and walk away"

Most games have the elements Of the original post in them.  These were suggested by players or by developers who are players.

Then they complain that MMO are just a click fest or grind.  This is because all of the adventure and discovery of things were removed from the MMO to make them more accessable to the masses.

Unfortunately it strips the game of various elements that made the RPG part of the MMORPG.  You had to DISCOVER things.

mm me i want 1 thing in a mmo that no game maker have added yet

insanelly massive amount of randomness everywhere

like today you start close to org 2 minute later you might be starting game in brd

same with quest theres so much lore

i cannot believe in 2009 they  still have a solo story for an mmo

i believe the ideal number of randomness is 182

so if you start a game you would have 182 different starting possibilitys etc

that would make game almost impossible to end up with a guide (hoorey)

mm i wonder how big wow would end up if we added 182 possible random on each quest or ways to play

yep i might have  to remove lotr from my computer
