If I'm not mistaken they are the same... They just changed it from PlayNC to NCsoft....

PlayNC is to NCsoft what PlayOnline is to Square Enix.  It is really nothing more than a coined term for their online launch platform.

It's a Jeep thing. . .

I think NCSoft is the parent Korean company, PlayNC is the english part of it which does all the western subscriptions etc.  Which is now NCWest.
