first of all: im more of a FPS player.

However, i played a few MMO's, had my share.

The ultimate MMO i played was 'Tibia'. Some might say: Tibia?!? Yes, Tibia! It was awesome, had 10+ classmates playing, had our own guild and we all had houses etc, was super. However, we all quited it.

Now my question is: does anyone know a game such as Tibia (not runescape)?

Some info about it:

2d game, Full PVP (full loot etc), Guilds, Houses, Reputation from other players is more important than your level, a level 35 can kill a level 80. Exploss on death.

Please let me know, F2P/ P2P doesnt matter.

Everything you want, dofus has, just one little problem.... you need to play on the hardcore server with permadeath to get full loot.
I love the game and I love the challenge but it is to "hardcore"(dont know how to put it really) for most people since you can get killed everywhere except on the noob island and in the main city, everywhere else you are in risk of getting jumped as long as the area you are in is currently contested. This shifts alot and can change at all times since it is players that take areas and recapture areas to make them contestet or not.

The upside is that the server has multiplied exp and drops. They also have so if you are killed at a certain level you get 6 times the exp until you reach that level again which is really nice. You also get 5% of the persons exp when you kill him and 25% of his exp if he his a ganker(killing neutrals).

But since you say you are a fps player I can see this game might not be something that you might like since the combat is turnbased. But I have seen fights with hugh level difference finish in the favor of the low level person.

Other than dofus I dont know any good 2d games with those features, even tibia has gotten its pvp really gimped since I played and there dosent seem to be many games like them around now. But if you or someone else do find one that has these features please give me a tell so that I can check it out since I also love them. Hope you find what you are looking for!

I will check out Dofus. And i know tibia got gimped, thats why i'm looking for a game which is alike back in time... I played up to v7.0 i think... They ruined the mana etc now and the aiming by hotkeying everything.

 And I forgot to say there is a free trial, costs nothing to buy and it is about $7 / month. You can not do the trial on the heroic server Oto-Mustam(thats the name of the hardcore server) but you can try a normal server and get the feeling of the game.
