Yes soloing is easy, but the only problem I'm having is that the solo content in each zone is kill 20 rats quest. The good content are the group quest. So you better come to Vanguard with a friend, and one that players the same time as you every night.

I was never expecting this to be Vanguard's downfall at least for me (and many others), and as I see it it's the only problem.  It's really sad because I'm finding so many cool Keeps,Caves and holes in the ground that you can enter, and I'm stuck in doing the basic stuff.

The only way I could see a fix is that:

SOE somehow finds thousands of more players per server.

                                      or

Fix thousands of quest.

Please don't give me the old you have to find a good guild crap, cause you have no Idea how hard I tried to find friends, guilds, and spams for others to play with. This is gonna make a lot of you mad, but WoW is almost the only game that has everything balanced. They really take everything into account.   Too bad WoW is loaded with kids, as I could never go back !

If a guild isn't your thing use the LFG tool.  I've seen many pick-up groups evolve into a group of players that look each other up whenever they are on and start planning group outtings together.

Oh, and which quests are broken?

Have YOU used the LFG tool? Ive Logged into the game everynight this week and seen  over that week 3 names pop up in the LFG window. No tool is gonna work if the people arent there or choose not to group.

As for broken quests. I can name 1 major quest from person experience. The Soul and Brain quest which is part of the URT quest line in Misthaven is and has been broken for a while now. You have to /petition to have a gm advance the quest for you and that can take days. and the URT quests being linear that one bug stops you dead in the whole VERY important lower level Armor quest line.

Yeah, I ran into this as well. Frustrating. I just gave up on the quest and moved to other things.

Current: Ryzom, DFO
Played: WoW, CoV, SWG, EVE, LotRO, AoC, VG, CO
Tried: Lineage2, Dofus, WAR, EQ2, CoS, FE
Future: Mortal Online, Earthrise, APB

Unfortunately relying on a lfg tool isn't going to work too well.   I mean it certainly doesn't hurt to turn on lfg but people tend to be lazy and use regional chat more often or guild chat.  The best way to get ta group is to start a group and advertise in chat.  Maybe even pop around to other continents if you really want exposure.  With the rift it is pretty easy to do.  The other thing that works is to just go to a popular place and join groups that are either forming there or have a couple spots missing.  This is what I did for most of the hunters league quests...

If you want to solo, pick up some singleplayer games.

People don't solo because they want the game to be single player. They solo not to play with people but to play alongside of people. There is a palpable difference in playing Oblivion as compared to palying an mmo solo.

I'm just about to ding 24 (yes I know, not high) but as of now, the game has beeen very soloable and very enjoyable.

I have tried this game twice, the first time I would have agreed whole heartedly.

This second time I joined a guild that exists to help players, and have been in a group every night since. I has been easier finding groups in this game than any game I have played for years, so I no longer can agree. My previous lonelyness was not at all the fault of the community, and completely the fault of my unwillingness to seek out a guild that is active in my level range.

Yeah I agree to that. Why is it so hard to understand that there is more options, more depth in MMO's, to play with other people then actually teaming up in groups.

I'm so broke. I can't even pay attention.
