I want to pre-order the game, only spending $5.00 and having the place where i bought it email me the code. Anyone know a place that can do so?

I believe you can preorder directly from the NCSoft tsore, they will give you the code, but will not charge your credit card until the release.  This is how my brother did it.

I went down to the local Gamestop and padi 5 bucks, and they gave me the code right then.

NCstore costs 49.99 to pre-order. Reason I only want to spend $5 is so I can try the game tomorow and see If i really want to play it.

I'm confident that you'll get at least $50 worth of entertainment from it.  Even if you only play it a month.

At least that's what my last oppotunity cost analysis tells me.

A movie here is $10 a person.  $50 = 5 movies.  2 Hours per movie = 10 Hours of bigscreen hollywood.  So if you play the game for more than 10 hours within a month, you've received the equivalent of watching 5 movies.  Going forward at a monthly perspective, it only takes 1.5 movies worth of cash.   To purchase a movie you're along the same pricing model, if not more.

Rental is a whole different ball game.  Especially if you're part of the unlimited movie program.  And you have to take into account that the movie is not interactive nor social (which provides additional benefit).

The only way to beat video games in Price / Entertainment hours = Value is to READ paperback novels.  That way you still get the avatar feeling (if written in the correct perspective) and I'll be darned if there's many people that read more than one book per week ( = ~15 month).

I don't think you'll have a hard time getting your money's worth.  You'll get in on several beta events, you'll get a head start on your character at launch, and you'll get the first month of play free.

The game is much more fun than I expected it to be.  Both of my Brothers and several friends are dropping WoW in order to play Aion with me as well.

If you need someone to show you around this weekend or just quest with, lemme know.

I wouldn't quest with you solely because of your Avatar.

Reminds me of something from the final boss in Quake 1.  I hated that guy.

I always pre-order locally.  I don't like waiting for shipping on a new release. Most game stores have a midnight release on bigger titles as well.

Anyone know how this works? I can't imagine the pain of d/l'ing the client 2days before launch.

That's why you preorder now and install and play the beta.  You'll be all set and ready to go.

Did anyone order from Gamestop? I ordered last night and I'm hoping I will receive a key for July 2nd's beta event.

You can buy it on Direct2Drive I think, and have you tried Steam?

I pre-ordered Warhammer online with Drect2Drive, still have the file on a backup hard drive.

I did the exact same thing, pre-ordered from Gamestop last night. I'm still waiting for the key too. It says it will be emailed within 24 hours from when you placed the order though so I'm not worried.

The gates of Hell are open night and day; smooth the descent and easy is the way.

Yup, after going to my local gamestop and getting told they have no keys left and telling me to call back over and over... I decided to preorder it for 5 bucks and just get it that way. I then went to the gamestop.com and preordered and put it for instore pickup.. Hopefully they email me my key.. Either way i'm only out 5 dollars, but I would like my key.. :(
