I figured that out. But I was using it as an example. If you aren't planning on helping, why don't you just stop posting. And I don't care if it's a noobish question. When I get into something I want to learn all about it. And I'll ask dumb questions if I need to. |

No, but you should beable to pick it up faster than that. I don't mean to be rude or anything.. I mean its pretty common sense to know what it is. This isnt science equation or anything. |

The experiance gained are the lessons learned from playing, guides however will make a game very boring cause instead of finding out things for yourself and perhaps be suprised here and there, now with a guide to tell you where to go, what to pick up simply makes for a boring experiance in my opinion. ------------------------------------------------------------ |

MMORPG = Massivly Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game PVP = Player Vs. Player PVE = Player Vs. Environment (AKA computer) Loot = Well its just that "loot" "treasure" junk that you find. MOB = Computer enemy (generaly there has to be alot of them {Like a ton of boars}) HUD = Heads Up Display NPC = None Player Character DPS = Damage Per Second Cooldown = (They are refering to the time it takes to recharge a spell/ability {So if my chain lightening has a 1 minute cool down, I can only use it every 1 minute}) Raid = (This would be where a group of players get togeather to kill a certain group of enemys, or one big boss at the end of an instance) Aggro = short for "Aggravation" meaning. (Whoa I just pulled aggro on that dragon) well you got to close/pissed off that dragon, and now it is aggravated at you, and so you have "aggro"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This should get you started, if you have any specific questions post them, if not try looking somthing up at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page
If at first the power of persuasion doesn’t work, use the persuasion of power. |

I should probably rephrase my question but, I was looking for a like a general guide to terms. Like before I didn't know what an instance dungeon was or the difference between DPS and DoT. |

This is for WoW, but many of the terms apply to other games as well ____________________________________________ |
