Just checking... I'm guessing the stress test means they're close to release.

If there's nothing on the official forums and site, we can only speculate... They still stick to Q2 so late june might still be feasable.

It wouldn't surprise me. Those saying it's not ready seem to think it never will be anyway.

The retailers aren't showing it as something to pre-order, so I geuss not as the retailers like 8-12 weels notice of a game to be released.

It's in closed beta now. It probably won't be released until after some type of OPEN beta first...at least I hope so for their sake. Also, the current stress test is probably just to get things ready for an open beta, though thats just my guess.

From what I played today in the stress test this game isn't even beta quality yet, let alone open beta or release quality.

Not gonna happen.

God, I hope not.  Not sure it should release this year...

It definitely shouldn't.  Great potential, looooooong way to go.

You realize you just broke the NDA by saying your in the stress test. From what I have heard and read on the official site even the stress testers are under the NDA.

Considering his post, I don't think he cares.

Considering the Stress Test is open to ALL fileplant users I have a feeling the NDA won't mean much now.

They should have just made it open beta..

BTW a quote from the NDA on Fileplanet:

This. It would be a crying shame if a game with so much potential were released too early and joined the pile of Vanguard / AoC / Darkfall etc.

Be ready to cry then, because we all know it most likely will happen. If it is held back it would be a miracle. The last official announcement was that they were still on course for a summer launch. It has been a little while since the statement was made, however there have been no retractions of it. I guess we will have to see if anything is released this week, now that the stress testing has been underway. By all accounts it did not go so well, if forums are to be believed.

I still say the game will turn out like eve, it hits a good niche. Bumpy start with a decent future would not surprise me at all.

yeah, I hear ya man. I'll be keeping my eye on it for sure....but I don't dare to be too optimistic.

I don't think that most people that have witnessed the current state of the game are all too worried about that ;)
