This is like asking will apples hinder the sales of oranges. Well for the citrus crowd, it sure won't. For the crowd that just likes fruit, then it would depend on which one they want. For the apple crowd, well they'd buy apples anyway so it doesn't matter. |

Aion won't have any effect on Champions. Champions is a completely different game and will be aiming to draw from COH/COV and the rest of the super-hero fans. |

Absolutely not. Champions is a strong IP and will attract an entirely different playerbase. For the Templars... |

this. More people will leave CoX instead. Champions will hurt CoX and DC Universe more than Aion would hurt Champions. |

It might, but what really is making me having second thougths about this game is that it will be released on the Xbox as well. Having a MMORPG on console makes them having to cut down on the complexity of the game. (Or so I imagine anyway.) So you want to be a slacker? Teach you we will. I voted yes.
I heard a rumor that the longest thread on their main section of their forum in the Closed Beta is something like, "Why CO isn't enjoyable"
` I am waiting for a game that isn't a carbon copy of what was released 5+ years ago ` |

Aion is a safer bet as people have been playing it for months, and from the two beta weekends I can tell you the game is polished and ready for release. I'm not so sure about Champions. I think a lot of Champion players will be console players, which won't be affected by Aion. |

Well, I know very little about Aion, (but like what I've heard) and next to nothing about Champions (so I"m thinking, COX 2?) so i had to go with "Don't know"

I voted no in that I think that those people who are jazzed about Champions will play Champions no matter what. Same goes with Aion. For those who game hop a lot or who just like trying out different games, they will probably end up trying both and possibly sticking with one or the other. They are two different types of games. Their core audiences, provided the games are well made, will stick to what they like. |
