It seems they got 5 (3 got convicted) of those people and one of them leaked out that he sold the code to Square Enix. I hope this news gets a real Korean to English translator to shed some more light on it ^^.

I have a hard time believing that Square Enix would knowingly use stolen code, and a criminal as the only source certainly isn't reliable.

It's done on regular basis. Like i said it would be good if a Korean could translate it accurately, to read the full article without confusion.

SE has plenty of in house experience in RPG and MMO development. Why would they put themselves in that position? I'm open to ideas, just skeptical of the claim is all. I think you're right that a more direct english translation would probably be very useful in getting a better understnading of the claims and liklihood. -mklinic "There's a point I think we're missing. I am pretty sure it's about the Engine that Lineage 3 is based on. Btw they also seem to have sold it to Bluehole Studio (the guys from Tera).
