TMZ might be right, but they also might be jumping the gun a little bit too.  I'm sure it is trying to scoop the story if he is, in fact, dead.

And buzz, I just heard the rumor that there were pills next to him when he was found, so you might be right about that one.

Oops, latest report is that he's in a coma.  News is breaking as I type this.

I just got breaking news on TV that he's dead.   Not sure which channel surfing the old way.

Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it.

Yeah, the report I heard said he was delcared dead at 3:15 pst.  RIP Michael, but why'd you have to steal the headlines from Farrah?  You always did crave the spotlight.  Maybe you were distraught over her death and that's what killed you.

This is a huge shock, just goes to show, you never know when your time will come and make sure when it does come, you've said all the things you need to say and done all the things you need to do. Don't regret what you could have done or should have done.

I've seen more music videos on CNN in the last 15 minutes than I have on MTV in the last 10 years.

Also Billie Jean is on my top 25 list of best songs of all time.

A bit ago, when CNN finally announced he was dead, their headline was:  Michael Jackson has Died.  Just below it read:  Michael Jackson in a Coma.  Geez.  Good old CNN!

Well the attorney that was talk about the Jackson family at the hospital on CNN said there is no word from the hospital on his official condition. He mentioned Jackson had seemed very healthy but he also said something along the lines that he probably was abusing medications. Besides the annoyance Jackson has had from the media and that court case, he had broken a leg and hurt his vertebrae(?) from falling off a stage and maybe that's when he started taking medications??

On a serious note: RIP. No matter what you think of him personally, you can't deny he was a great artist. And I say this even though I don't like pop.

I think it's likely he was prescribed pain killers following his first elective surgery and has been taking them ever since. Even continuing to schedule more and more surgeries to justify the abuse.

I'm not trying to slam the man. I have respect for the dead. I just want people to be aware of what true drug abuse looks like, and where it leads. It steals life from everyone without discrimination.

Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson, in that order.

I think it was a 3-day span as well.

"And I Aint Ever Ran From A Ninja And I Damn Sho Aint Bout To Pick Today To Start Runnin"

I'll miss the guy. I got pissed at work with a coustmer, some white trash lady....:

Mike (register clerk): You herd MJ died today right?

Lady: Oh did he die from Aids?

Mike & Riki: . . . . .

Mike: No he died from blah blah blah

Lady: Well it serves him right for having sex with little boys.

Riki: Don't ever talk about anybody that has passed away like that. People in life do great things and nobody is that perfect to do something wrong, but when one dies you don't remember them for the mastakes they done. But I will be sure to be at your funeral and annouce that it serves you right for dying because your being an ignorant bitch. Have a good night!

It' aggervates me when people say things like that. I don't care who you are. She didn't mention the shit that Farrah done, may she rest in peace too.

Actually, I'm not really surprised.  I don't want to sound disrespectful at this sad time, but a lot of celebrities age notoriously poorly.  Elvis did not take care of himself and was known to have become depressed as he got older.  You add to that the fact that Michael Jackson did some strange things which he thought would help him defy the aging process (like sleep in an oxygen tent) and I just had a feeling that he might not make it to old age.  Although I didn't know at what age or by which manner he would succumb.

Now, given his work with the Thriller video, I think the odds are good that MJ will return in zombie form, possibly heralding a zombie apocalypse.

In seriousness, I'm thinking drug overdose or damage from long-term drug abuse.
