Yeah I could see that from a regular poster just posting threads in the forum.  Especially if they haven't skilled up their mmorpg.com Forum flame-shield.   It can be a bit hardcore here... but after awhile the site kinda grows on you.  

However,  a Correspondent writing Features?  Especially when they only completed 2 of a 10 part series?  For them to just up and leave... they'd have to be pretty thin-skinned, or just lost interest really quickly.

Just seems a bit odd to me.  Especially after only 4 months.  That is some mighty fast burn-out.

Aye you have your reasoning there.

However, you have to put yourself in the shoes of MMORPG and see things in their light.

WoW is immensely popular, but not many people need another game forum coverage to tell them much about WoW.  You have just to goggle and find yourself overwhelmed by blogs and message boards about WoW.  You need no more extensive coverage from MMORPG.  On the other hand, new games, and young rising stars, need some exposure, and coverage, and that is what MMORPG serves, and very well so I said.

Fact is, I have too much to read about WoW, I can consume my whole day doing so, without another article from MMORPG every week.

My memory is fine. What you're overlooking is those people are still mostly on the forums. It's just on forums for oither games. They're not posting on the official Darkfall forums even though those are as a big a cesspool as ever. They left the game. The one smart decisiuon Aventurine has made lately is to move their forums to a subscriber only format. Why they didn't do that to begin with is beyond me.

And here we have exhibit A ladies and gentlemen. Like most fans of darkfall if something is wrong, its the fault of the people that dont like it.

Darth if darkfall wasnt such a piece of trash and Aventurine wasnt a company full of 3rd rate scammers there wouldnt be a need for policing of the forums. Trust me Aventurine did this to themselves, theyre barely one step ahead of 3 card monty on the subway.

So let me get this straight.

The trolls WERE worth it from Feb. 08 until 2 weeks into March 09.  In fact they were so worth it that you racked up 2900+ posts in that short time.

But now that the game is in severe need of new players and they are on the eve of launching an NA server... nah... the trolls aren't worth it.  Got it. 

Good thing you clarified that, as some might have MISTAKENLY assumed that the reason you stopped posting shortly after the game went live was the condition of the game itself. 

I would like to see. Even once in years on this forums , that rabbid fanboy (that usually dissapears with no trace aka- changes nick) comes clean and admit he was wrong and appologises to all the people he suckered into buying the game.

Aventurine did a great job on Darkfall and delivered what they promised and other companies promised but failed to deliver.

I also dont see why they are subject to be label like "scammer". 

They offer a service that has litle to no downtime. A service exceptional exciting compared to the market nowadays crap.

In my case i dont need another game ! (including single player, other genre etc.) at all, since i started play DFO.

Correspondent's of other games take as much shit, if not more, as the DF correspondents do/did.

Hell, AmazingAvery gets ripped a new one at least twice a week in the AoC forums, yet he's still there.
