An awesome system if you have some extra cash consider buying Antec 1200, you won't regret it.

World of Warcraft is a proof that MMORPG quality should affect schedule/budget and not the other way around.

The antec 900 caseis going to be kinda tight with that video card.

I've built several systems using it, it is a lovely case, but like I said, going to be tight int here.

Also, I hate corsair memory. Everytime I have to work on somones system that has that brand in there, there is almost always a bad chip.

Corsair may get a lot of good reviews, but I have had nothing but bad experience with them. Just my opinion though.

I much prefer crucial.

Otherwise. Awesome gaming system, you are going to have some real fun with it.

Viking if you could hold off till Windows 7 is released it would be much better.

Because

A. Windows 7 is a better OS and it supports DX11

B. You are getting a single card solution, The 4850x2 beats the 285 for less money, but it looks like you wan't performance. The ATI 5000 series will be DX11 and it's reported to be a near doubling of the current generation capabilities, Wait for the 5000 series dual card (x2)

Keep in mind Windows 7 is built for DX11, and for any DX11 titles the video card is most important, I would consider a Crossfire based system with more cards. Mainly because ATI has Tesselation already perfected since the beginning of the 4000 series, Theirs will probably be better.  I would look for the 5000 series x2 cards to outperform Nvidia for a while.

No need to call me an ATI fan, I am one. I have 3 Nvidia bricks in my filing cabinet (8800gtx, 2x 9800gtx, right next to 2 1950xtx's that ran at 100c for 1.5 yrs and still work, and 2 3870's that still work......oops forgot a 7950 blew on me too

Or you could just dl the windows 7 rc although there are no video cards that are able to use dx 11 at this time

Sure, it looks great. Corsair make very good stuff to a desent price. Asus is not my favorite since MSI and Gigabyte do the same stuff for a better price (I usually use A-BIT, but have a ASUS card right now since thunder killed my old MOBO and it was the only one in. ASUS was the best card 10 years ago but they use cheaper components now).

And the GFX card is overkill for any existing MMO, the computer should last for a few years well :) I have a 280 GTX myself.

Don't forget to wear a ESD bracelet when you put it together, it only costs a few dollars.

i'll warn you right now to find a different brand for the hard drive. I got a 1tb seagate and it was DOA. then about 6-7 months later the second one they sent me died ...... so far the only HDD that has died for me has been a seagate.

I'd go for a Core i5 system.
