Hello All, I am in search of a MMO that is in Beta testing atm and is supposedly very similar to Anarchy Online. I have a good MMO friend (Which i have lost ALL contact information for) and they last thing he said to me was "the other reminds me so much of Anarchy Online(my favorite MMO ever) that ill probably end up there for the rest of my MMO life. only real difference between this game and AO is that this one is FFA PVP and full loot. *drools*". So he didnt tell me the name of the game probably because of the NDA, so I implore the members or MMORPG.com to help me and suggest some of those games out there that could be considered similar to AO, has FULL LOOT PVP, and is in BETA testing atm.
Any suggestions and help would greatly be appreciated.

Mortal Online, Fallen earth...though i cannot vouch for fallen earth having full loot.

The only one of those close to AO would be Earthrise, since it's sci-fi. Fallen earth would be close, but has little sci-fi elements as far as alien tech, space, aliens, etc. By the way, small bit of useless trivia: AO originally allowed you to loot players you killed. |

Just wait for Star Wars: The Old Republic, Star Trek Online, Global Agenda, and Earthrise. All look like very promising sci-fi MMOs. When we get back from where we are going, we will return to where we were. I know people there! |

The game that feels more like Anarchy Online today is... Fallen Earth. Anyway FE is in develpment, but good news, is on some "open beta" or somewhat state, so you can maybe enter now. (note: but I doubt is FFA fulllot, only niche games like Darkfall have FFA fullot)
