The Aion pre-order program details are now available. Players who pre-order the game will gain access to the remaining beta events, be eligible to win prizes in a sweepstakes, receive in-game items, choose their name and server before launch, and get a 48 hour headstart on the game.

Since game is coming out only in September, I would maybe consider Pre-Order if I knew the schedule of all the Beta Events. If I can't really play it before September and only poke around for couple hours until then, there is no point in pre-order. My 2 cents. |

There are beta events as far as into August but they are in short 3 day periods so far. The game is beautiful. I didnt intend to buy it till I was in beta and now we have a preorder.

Need to preorder to get into beta. Need to get into beta to decide whether you want to preorder.

I wish the release wasn't pushed back to September.Wasn't it set to June some time ago? If release was in June I'd definitely play this with my wife. September release may change my choices though because just WAY to many good games are being released in fall. |

once you pre-order and try the beta, if you dont like it, can you cancel the pre-order? |

Most pre-orders require a deposit of $5+, however if you never pick up the game they will usually keep the $5 in your account assuming you they offer accounts at your store, and you can do with it whatever you please, as long as you spend it there.
