As someone who played EQ PVP before instancing was the norm, that statement would be true. But come on, advantage in WOW? All the decent gear in WOW when I played was from instances, so I hardly see any advantage. |

Many of the same players also complained about lack of endgame content, lack of different looking gear etc. Patch 1.05 will make gear more important thus making raids more meaningful for many players. This in itself is not enough to rescue the game from doom and gloom, but it is pretty much an important step to give the game the needed "basement" to evolve the game further on. Those who think patch 1.05 is some kind of awesome miracle patch is in for a nasty surprise. The patch from what I have seen so far is quite good, but it is far from a patch that alone will make people forgive funcom for previous mistakes and bring back all players again. |
