In most MMOs PvP players resent letting characters that were leveled on a PvE server join their ranks, dunno if it's still the case but WoW did not allow transfers from PvE to PvP servers because of the unfair leveling / gearing advantage.

 

 

As someone who played EQ PVP before instancing was the norm, that statement would be true. But come on, advantage in WOW? All the decent gear in WOW when I played  was from instances, so I hardly see any advantage.

Patch 1.05 is by many praised as the ultimate patch for AoC. the interesting thing is whilst 1.05 doesn't add tons of new content, it is meant to fix one of the things people have said to be a huge issue about the game. Many players never bothered to do raids since the gear they got wouldn't be affecting them in any big way. Many of the same players also complained about lack of endgame content, lack of  different looking gear etc. Patch 1.05 will make gear more important thus making raids more meaningful for many players.

This in itself is not enough to rescue the game from doom and gloom, but it is pretty much an important step to give the game the needed "basement" to evolve the game further on. Those who think patch 1.05 is some kind of awesome miracle patch is in for a nasty surprise. The patch from what I have seen so far is quite good, but it is far from a patch that alone will make people forgive funcom for previous mistakes and bring back all players again.

aoc.yg.com there are many thousands of players. Some servers are less than other forsure. But the game has ever more EU servers than LOTRO.

 

And what difference does it make if the game has more eu servers then Lotro? Lotro has more players no matter how you look at it. And lotro doesn't have PvP specific servers do they?

No point discussing with a narrow minded fanboy who will lie despite knowing hes wrong. Rarely do you see a man that stand up and tell the truth straight as it is, with no hidden agenda. Why yearn more suffering when we can take a closer look on what is really true with AoC? Drop your ideas, opinions, beliefs and your little feeling about wanting to be right for a moment, and see what you find. I want to hear..

FC really needs to give Avery a raise for all the overtime he puts in for 'em.
