forums and in game RP is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.... the way one person acts here doesnt prove that they act the same is an RP game... (sigh) and thats not the point!!! even IF and i really mean IF naimon did do anything well does that still give the GM the right to break his/her own rules that they have to follow?!

people havent had many problems with me...apparently im "guilty by association" which again is a little childish.

YOU of all people dont have the right to tell me i dont belong thier, or anyone else....the GM's are breaking thier own rules, abusing thier power and offending other...i hear more BAD than good on all these forums ive read and even on the linux forums as well...so apparently we are not the only ones!!

OH and not to mention i wanted to make an oficial complaint and so did a few others, they sent us to the forum and then they deleted what i wrote!! and all i said was a GM was offensive to me and id like to here back...whats wrong with that?

You just don't understand what I'm saying. I've encountered you both ingame and on forums, and I testify to the fact you are no different when you get into an argument, especially Naimon. I don't care about the illusion you're trying to maintain here, I know that the fact of the matter is different, I support the GMs banning you Naimon, because you just aren't the kind of player we want on Laanx.

So while you harp on about being different ingame, I can tell everyone now that while most players are different in game, Naimon is very much the same in game.

I see no solid evidence of GM abuse, just your claim to how things happened.

Therefore I see no reason to dig through piles of logs just to show Naimon is a pain in the rump.

I have evidence, I just can't be bothered trawling through my log to find it. Considering that my point is proven by Naimons abusive posting (that had to be deleted by a forum mod).

At the end of the day, the PlaneShift GMs AND Devs were fed up with this behaviour. I'm sick of having to reiterate the fact you annoy a whole lot of people in the game. You say you can name 80 that like you, I can't name all the people that dislike you because there's really that many.

I wouldn't be surprised if at the end of the day, it was XilliX or another important Settings dev that pushed the ban button because they have gotten so many complaints about you since you joined.

Enough is enough, just move on instead of whinging about the fact that the majority of a gaming community wishes you were gone.

You said "you" do you think im naimon? I have not been baned. Ive never had any problem with any GMs on any game ever, i havent even talked to a GM on any game. Other than a few comments on the forums.

I'm a bit of a consipiracy theorist.  Sometimes I see things for what they are, and other times I see a whole different aspect of the scenario that most can't even imagine.

That being said, here's what I've noticed while reading this very enthralling thread:

(1) Freyya and Naimon are the same person (which explains why one changes the color of the text, and the other leaves it default, while both have very terrible grammar).  Both seem to have the same defensive-manner and explosive outbursts when replying to any challenges, which also solidifies my opinion of them being the same person.

(2) This is some kind of advertising scheme, meant to raise controversy within the MMO community (can we say "Darkfall"?) and spread word of this very poorly-marketed game (which is understandable, considering it's open source).

Besides that, I wish I would have cooked up some popcorn before entering this thread, because I couldn't turn my eyes away. 

I really hope you figure out whatever is you're trying to accomplish.  Good luck with that...

xiirot if that show you spell it. freyaa and i are not the same person. She is my girlfirend so sorry. But your theory is wrong, Very entertaining though. The only reason  for these "outbursts" is because this kid is pissing me off. Now there is nothing wrong with being mad. I dont do that with anyone voicing their opinions only this kid who likes saying things over and over and over agian. If you think i was rightfully banned then that is your own opinion but that is off topic and not the point of the op. The op is simply a warning to all players who differ with auroities actions when they know they are wrong. Now like i said before any other time  that chuck guy would be right. When i first started on planeshift i was a dick. But when i started my own guild on there i found out rather quickly that what i did affected my guild members reputations. So after my first 7 day ban i stopped acting like that and for the whole week i was supposedly monitored or targeted by GMs i was in the crater or as i like to referr to is as the volcano and the sewers training. Now when the gms told me i was reported i never saw any red letters saying so on my screen the whole entire week. And to think that every single one of these supposed people who reported me  just reported themselves when i wasnt talking to them in the first place is prety improbable no? But it doesnt matter because later in the convo i was told that it was a petition not reports. So why would gms change their story? But anyway im rambling now. The whole point of the op was to warn people thats all not to decide for themselves wether i was banned rightfully or not. I dont make it a point to go around wasting my time lying, I have better things to do^^

So, if I understand the intentions of the OP, the purpose was to warn potential players about the corruption of the Game Masters within PlaneShift.  If that's the case, does that mean you both will be quitting the game due to the Game Masters' abuse of power?

If so, all we can do in the MMO community is recommend other games to play.  I personally recommend Runes of Magic, it's the best F2P I've ever played, and recommend it over many P2P.  Not sure if it's MAC compatible, this is all it says for system requirements, doesn't say it's explicitly for Windows, so maybe it'll work:

Thers nothing really wrong with the game itself that i can complain about, and no i dont plan on leaving...i have my own guild, i love the people i have met and yes it was my first mmorpg <3

I just want people to be aware of the fact that the GMS are abusing thier powers...and to be cautious of it.

Yes i was messing around with that one yesterday and i have to find a flash player to run it on but other then that it seems to work, Well it let me download it anyway^^. But i am torn between quiting and playing agian. Ive put a ton of hours into it and i have a guild now which i think is pretty kool. There are a ton of nice people that i actually do get along with so idk yet. But i really want to find a free flash player so i can play that runes of magic mmo. The demo video on the site looked so kool. The graphics are better then planeshift and its a traditional mmorpg which is my FAVORITE^^.

Hah. your OP is a big whine in my opinion. Because:

1) The GMs aren't abusive. They've always helped me and every player I know, except the bad ones like Naimon who run around shouting OOC things and annoying the general population of PlaneShift.

2) You were banned for good reason and you won't admit it. You try and avoid discussion of this, and attempt to hide beneath a veneer of innocence in the matter.

3) The GMs in PlaneShift are all volunteers, as are the developers. So perfection is not guaranteed, they're only human. Piss them off and they'll bite back. Hard.

4) You're just wasting bytes by adding pathetic insults to your replies to what I say, in an ad hominem attempt to degrade my opinions and points made.

Like all players the GM'S also have rules they need to follow...rude offensive innapropriate comments is not tolerated by the PLAYER or the GM'S, face it the GM'S (not everysingle one) messed up. You can believe this happened or you dont, but chucki when you come on here just talking about how Naimon is a bad player, everyone has told me so, your kind isnt welcome on the game. I HIGHLY doubt that you have spoken to everyone in the game...not to mention your trying really hard toslander Naimons name in the first place, my opinion is, you just dont like him or some reason or another and you thought this would be a good place to get back at him.

The intention of my OP was stated in almost all my posts, im not going to bother to write it out again and again for you to try and understand what im talking about.

Not to mention when i went to make a formal complaint about this incident, in the middle of the conversation the GM just left...

Sure maybe he had something more important but he didnt even here me out, i didnt even mention Naimons name or what happened in any of the time we were grouped...he never sent me a message saying he was sorry and maybe im being a little picky here but the GM'S are thier to help, to listen to your complaints, to provide you with the information you seek...The PlaneShift website and or forums arent always going to help you...so for  GM to just leave you hanging like that is very rude.

I have also had members join / talk to me about how a GM didnt help them whatsoever  when they were just days old to the game, all i want to see out of my OP is some recognition that the GM'S arent everything they claim to be. They have abused thier powers, they have been offensive and i think abusive, and they have been in the wrong on more than one occasion.

Im sorry if you feel the OP was "whiney" not to sound like a broken record (like some people) but all these posts are my first ones...i have never used another forum until just recently so if i worded it a little off and it wasnt structured well then im here to apologize for that. But that isnt the issue! I love this game...and yes i understand that they are volunteers...but they still have a code to follow just like the players do.

Your OP contains absolutely no evidence of the GMs actually saying or doing something abusive, it just claims that they did.

In other words, your claims are unsubstantiated, and are therefore slanderous. If so many other players have been wronged, why aren't they all posting here saying "I agree! Oh, those GMs are so abusive!"

You only claim to have emails, evidence, and the like. In my opinion, none of it exists, and you're just seeking attention because like every other wannabe badguy in the world, when you fail, you feel wrong.

Report away. Last I checked the forum admins were having to scrape clean the swearing from your posts, not mine.

I have stated a valid point and you still refuse to counter it by providing the necessary evidence. Therefore it is you who is spamming and wasting everyone's time, not me.

I had a similar argument with GMs, after which they banned me for 30 days. Rules clearly indicate that first ban is for only a few days. Anyhow, I know the GM system is not playing fair. What can you do?

2) Tell all your friends in the game about what they did to you

The game masters and devs here have a tendency to think they're being personally insulted if you disagree with them.  It's just the culture here.  By continuing to type in internet slang, even though you were told not to do so, you were challenging their authority, and they interpreted that as an insult.

I'm not saying it's right.  I'm not even saying it's sane.  But it's how they tick.

Just so you know, the reason they didn't delete your threads again is because you're making them look good by typing in internet slang and by spamming.  I've seen plenty of threads get deleted when it was clear the GM was in the wrong.  If a thread is critical of a GM, but it's clear the GM was in the right, the thread won't be deleted.  Unfortunately I have to tell you that you kind of lucked out by only being banned for 4 days - it actually means they're being more tolerant.

I hope you stick around and enjoy the game.  The player community here is very good and the game is enjoyable.
