I could use some help with my email alerts from mmorpg.com staff please. At one time all my emails were going into my junk mailbox, but I have since added mmorpg.com email addy to my contacts list. Could I get reverivifed see if there is any other issue preventing me from receiving my email alerts I sign up for?

Soo...no input from mmorpg.com staffers, maybe my issue is not so wide spread and I'm the only one with an issue? I'd hate to create a new account just to recieve email alerts; I'm quit fond of this account even though I'm a low poster |

Moderators have nothing to do with email alerts (or technical issues), try http://www.mmorpg.com/contactus.cfm (has a section on account issues). |

Unfortunately we have delay/blocking issues with Yahoo, Gmail and Hotmail. Basically they are limiting how many emails any one source can send in a limited time frame (example: no more than 1,000 per hour from mail.mmorpg.com) – our system exceeds this all the time of course with news alerts, forum post alerts, new member emails, newsletters, etc. Even though our emails are 100% legit, these guys don’t care it seems.
The only thing we can do is ask our community to complain to the source (Yahoo in your case). Perhaps if their customers are upset they will care more.
In the mean time you might try switching to an email other than one of these large free systems.
