Im a bit confused, and I really dont see the answer online anywhere.

If i preorder aion, do i get into the beta NOW, or is it only on select dates, or in the future?

I just pre-ordered from Amazon.com today , for my US version, and haven't recieved beta key yet.

I pre-ordered from gamestop.com and recieved my key in an email almost instantly.

 

I also ordered it as pickup in store so i wasn't charged anything at all on my card, will just pay for the game when I go pick it up in the store.

I went into gamestop and paid 5 bucks (4 times for 4 copies) and got my beta keys right then.

If I decide not to play the game on release, I'm only out 5 bucks.

Once you get your key (got mine at Gamestop) then you will have access to Aion's beta events on specific dates. 

2nd one is this weekend, June 19th. 

So you will be able to open it up but when they ask for your username and password, it'll say you wont have access yet.
