www.zam.com/story.html

In a Tweet tonight from Alan "Brenlo" Crosby we discovered that Free Realms now has 3 million registered players.

For those counting, Free Realms launched in the 11th hour of April 28, and hit 1 million registered players a mere 17 days later.

Players were still enjoying their 1 millionth player goodies when the game hit 2 million players less than 30 days after launch.

Now here we are, 45 days after launch by my count, with an unofficial announcement that we have hit the 3 million mark!

Wow, they are really movin' along with this game. I see they are giving another reward as well:

"To celebrate the rapidly growing community of players, SOE will grant its first three million Free Realms registrants the “3M Pet Party Pack,” filled with goodies for use with their virtual pets, both cats and dogs. Players have until Friday June 19, 2009 (11:59 PM PDT) to redeem the “3M Pet Party Pack”. "

Grats again SOE! Well deserved!

"If we don't attack them, they will attack us first. So we'd better retaliate before they have a chance to strike"

that game seems really good but it seems impossible to contact people or communicate.   I logged in an didn't see anyone around and there was nothing in chat for 10 minutes.  I mean the game is great, the npcs talk to each other and move around really making the game seem busy and populated but I didn't see any real players.

It is a fun enough game but feels mostly like a solo game.

This game is like pure fun,you usually do the same action for onle 7 times max . ther is no point in lvling, only if you like fighting      cooking req" skills as a player.........................................

The only con i find, is that the game is for kids.. meaning  its not that of a challeng.

I beleave that 3M registered users. No doubt there at all!

Here comes the $64.000 question: How many of that 3M registered users do actually play the game? Best way to check is the time played (it's recorded), and if it's more than 10 hours, and the last logon was less than 2 weeks ago, you have an active player. I think if they use these measurements, you won't even have 250K active players left...

Pages from Sages
Trolls should stay in WoW. That's the only MMO where you're allowed to play one :D

Site won't let me post a new thread for some reason... maybe an IE issue since I'm at work. So I must add my comments here.

I've tried out Free Realms on one or two occasions, and I'd like to be able to get more in-depth with it, except for one problem: the mouse sensitivity. I've never had this problem with any other game, but for some reason the slightest nudge with the mouse will send the camera (and my character) careening in that direction. It's incredibly difficult to keep my character on path, which is a pain since there are so many quests and minigames that require precision.

How can I play a first-person-shooter with relatively good control, and not this? :)

Has anyone else experienced this in-game, and if so, is there a way to adjust my mouse sensitivity or other controls for Free Realms only? My mouse performs just fine in every other situation. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or advice.

I dont think i have seen this in my case I use the arrow keys because the mouse doesn't seem reponsive enough however the game terrain is a mesh type design with pathing so its likely when you click the mouse in a certain direction the avatar is following what believe it or not is the closes route to that area since the mesh etc is folded in on itself the closest route to a place is not necessarily a straight line.   Dont click to far in front of you or use it on angles.   Plainly put terrain that appears flat probably isn't and its following the closes straight line on the mesh which is in 3 dimensions.   KInda sounds like your clicking a bit far away from your character if he is going off at an angle or something.
