Atlantica online is a very good family game, teaches kids how to make a proper formation, how to use it not just point click button mash your skills and call it a day. Atlantica you need to put some thought into what u going to do. Its what I would recommend, plus has nice community and has a language filter so parents relax :D |

Lord of the Rings online can be a very nice MMO for the whole Family, though it depents whether your family likes PvE or not.
Dark age of Camelot, it is not that popular and not a new MMO but it can be fun for the whole Family too. I met there infact guys who played this game with their wife and kids together. |

I gotta second lord of the rings online, very nice game. The community is quite good and if they start liking them game they'll probably read the books (if they havnt already done so). I'm not a no life that sits in front of his computer all day long, I'm an intern that sits in front of his computer all day long. |

Everyone already said it.. but FreeRealms seems to be the family game. Hardcore modes or permanent death makes every close call an adrenaline rush, and every minor achievement a major victory. This alternative rule-set should be in all MMORPGs. |

List updated again :) Pirates of Caribbean... got to check that out. Played quite a lot Sea Dogs in the past and this seems to be something similar. Money is hard to make but easy to use :) |
