I love seeing people say a game is destroyed when it isn't even out here. Cause everyone knows that we'll be playing on the same servers as the Korean and Chinese playerbase. Face it, you chose to play the game instead of waiting, so deal with it. NCSoft ain't responsible for it, thats why they discourage you from playing on these asian servers. So just shove it up your impatient arses and stop spreading crap like its going to be definitive here.

game is gona get destoyed in eu/usa when we gona wait for patches as long as china..  if it took them few months for china translations, and months for patches,  while for english language it takes over a year, and ye they change half of the text too.. i can imagine.. boom expansion, oh look, its a years wait for translation

Except it's actually NCSoft distributing the game over here in NA and it's a 3rd party distributor in China. How can you compare? The bright side is you won't see any game breaking bugs making it over here. NCSoft's goal with this game is to break in and take over the western MMO market, thats why it's the least grindy, most quest based theme park mmo coming from asia to date.

They have already stated that this game will not start at version 0, and will be patched up as far as they can manage before release.

Actualy your not correct updating servers and handling bots is ENTIRELY up to SDO and not NCsoft, NCsoft only have to send em the korean updates they made and then its up to SDO when to implement em, bots are a SDO problem not NCSoft as again NCsoft have nothing to do with the serevers located in china, only SDO can do something about this so blame them and NOT NCsoft. you really should look into what a third party combany is doing in this case when its located in China. No foreign Combany are allowed to run Game servers in China, Only  Chinese Owned combanys are allowed to run Games in china.

This is why i have a distaste for NCSOFT,i have dealt with their lame managing of game play before.Many do not like what i have to say,too bad ,i speak the truth and this post backs it up.

Why would anyone support such a lame developer,honestly why?You are sending a wrong message,and ONLY by mass exodus and complaining will it ever change.The fact that they have some hired team to manage the game in NA,will change nothing.They will have a SET criteria to follow,they have to meet that criteria and will do nothing above that criteria.Since NCSOFT does not care about cheating/botting,what makes ANYONE think they will include it in the criteria?

It just bothers me to no end ,why people in REAL LIFE would not support a corrupt or careless indentity,yet in gaming they turn the other cheek and ignore it,well some ignore it,judging from this post,i take it i am not alone in caring about who and what we support.

I don't care about bots and hacks, if this game has more than 1 million subscribers and an easier grind than L2, then I'm getting it.

wow calm down man, a little angry there. NCsoft  knows well that if they allow rampant cheating/Bots in US/EU the game will sink so im 100% sure they aint allowing it to go rampant here. And theres no game EVER that will be hack free so the only thing you can do is keep putting up new traps for them to over come while you ban the accounts you find cheating.... this forces the cheaters to keep buying new accounts which makes profit... you cant stop em from buying new accounts unless you hire assassins in real life.

Also NCsoft have hired alot more western staffs for US/EU release and i seriously doupt these people dont know fully they gotta deal with bots/Hackers the best they can as they fully know or ( should ) that we in the west dont tolerate bots/hackers at all. ( not that most asians do either ) but i think majority of asians are more loyal to the products they like than we are in the west in general.

Your whole argument about NCSOFT is that they are willingly destroying their game and losing money on purpose. Not only do you try to claim NCSOFT is a terrible company, but they actually are out to lose money. Sorry, but you're post does not back up or prove anything except how little you know about a company.

NCSOFT is like everyother company, they are out to make money, not lose it. If you think they will let bots and hackers run around freely, then, there is no hope for you. I guess hatred stems really deep inside of you, which is sad....

This is a game afterall, have fun.

When you play both sides of the fence, and even when Lineage 2 sub base goes down by 3/4 of a % , you are are still able to post quartly gains ? Can you please tell how a company that in the front end,m is losing money , and yet in the back end is creating money ? 

Just curious how a company who runs f2p in Korea and China are able to produce millions  of dollar revenues constantly.

Unless something drastic is done for the western releases, Aion is doomed.

Right now i got 3 high level Chars (3x, 3x & 4x) on China servers (i live in Asia) , and the game is becoming unplayable. How did it happen ?

1 - Early level bots everywhere, this can be dealt with but still what an headache

2 - Mid level bots everywhere, now using speed hacks ( to move fast, to DPS fast ) , used to be only gladiator bots, but now they use all classes.

3 - Insta rezz hacks

4 - PvP speed hack bots destroying full opposite parties in seconds

5 - Recently : Ressources gathering speed hacks

Basicly me and my chinese guildies can hardly PvP, gather resources, or simply kill quest mobs , because we 're facing -legions- of bots using speed hacks.

I thought NCsoft learned about Lineage botting, but it seems it's the opposite. The hacks & bots programs can only get even more performant until the western release. that's gonna be a complete joke unless something is done to prevent them.

Shame because Aion is probably the best mmorpg to hit the market for a looooong time :(

There's something more than simply wrong with this garbage...

Everyone on pretty much any website should have to pass some miracle test confirming they won't spout ignorant unuseful comments like this... It's still beta! Plus bots and the like are nearly unavoidable pests that drain some amount of fun from 99.9% of all MMORPGs. Soooo don't publicly annouce disorganized reviews like someone actually cares or play a game you like or play betas with an open mind and review it open minded aswell (most recommended).

Do you know what a proxy is?

Absolutely anyone who has played Lineage II for any length of time will know exactly how NCSoft US will deal with bots in Aion.

They won't.

They allowed them to destroy that game, and i've seen  nothing to suggest Aion will be any different.

I really hope i'm proved wrong. I played the beta and it seems like an excellent game.

I reckon there are tons of Chinese just playing the game and being fed up with those bots just like we would.

I really wonder how the Aion conglomerate will deal with this in a broader scale. I really don't fancy playing a game which has a softer approach to cheaters in general. If it is indeed a rampant problem like the OP describes.

I will wait and see a bit after EU/NA launch to see how this pans out.

thats not cheating, and they where not "fake buildings" they where empty building cos no one could afford them

if there is ip block on NA Aion there will a lot of gamers who will pull out of the game.international clans play together as a whole nowadays.

example,my clan have a lot of eu and usa gamers as well as other gamers from asia(like malaysian,singapore,taiwan,australia,thailand,phillipines etc) and we have decided to play together in na server version.if aion is gonna be region block then we will all quit aion and wait for other mmo.

china does have a culture of accepting botting in their mmo so u cannot compare them to na version.i know  ncsoft will deter botters and hackers more aggressively than china aion.of course if they do not then a lot of gamers will pull out of aion after a few months instead of long term playing it. :)

big deal.. complain all you want but whether they do or not wont change the fact that it's going to do decently well and IS doing well in Asia so *shrug* fans win ^^

Oh and bots don't destory the game at least none i have played. They've always been around and while they can be annoying or influence the game economy it doesn't change the core of a game really. Sounds like you're just trying to hate, bots are everywhere and to most people they go unnoticed and people just don't care. Wow has bots no one cares, guild wars has bots, no one cares... complain if you want but *shrug* no one will listen because it doesn't really matter.

What about the effect of botting on Lineage 2, did that not change the core of the game?  There is no better example than this when it comes to games ruined by botting.   No other games ever even approached the scope of economic dissaster in Lineage 2.  These are the same people, so of course people are going to sound the alarm!  What will they do this time around?  I hope they do something, because that would be more than they've done against botting in Lineage 2.  

Guild Wars?  WoW?  The economy in those games is the picture of perfect health compared to L2.

Me too, since I came from one of the games that supposedly thiis game won't be for me. So far I am loving it, and most of the stuff I've been reading on what to expect later on in levels seems pretty exciting.
