When I try launching the game I get this odd gameguard error. Here's a picture of the error. Any ideas?

Firewall error, Gameguard often doesn't run on Vista if you don't turn it off.

Windows sees Gameguard as a threat to your PC and it will try to block it, resulting in an error when Gameguard tries to update.

Shouldn't  you be asking these questions in the beta forums since you are still under the NDA?

I have fully disabled windows firewall and defender, and have set it to run in windows xp sp 2, but still get the same error.

EDIT* That gameguard fix makes 32 bit users blue screen so I am not going to try that.

I fixed by using the the "right click run as admin" option on the installer.

this was an issue in Tcos as well, i had to disable my virus program while playing, this may be the same case, especially if you are using the free AVG virus program

Which is such bull.  If I have to disable my Antivirus and risk a hack, especially since I am playing a korean MMO, they can fuck themselves.  Truly.  I can see why Anet allows separation from the NC Crap loader.
