man.. yesterday I got so angry that I cancelled my sub.
Since my main a WE was really hard to play in the 31+ zergfests I started to play a sorceress. T 1 + 2 was really fun.. T 3 was empty and since level 31 I started to play T 4 scenarios. Yesterday I noticed that the people left the group I joined. As I changed the group as well and rejoined theirs all of them left the group again. As I asked why they were changing groups all the time, without making 2 - 3 full groups with a healer in every group they called me a fucking leecher. I LoLed and asked if they would rather loose the match than having a 33 sorcerer in their group who could still do a nice amount of damage they told me to level up.. then theyd allow me to play in their group again. I was like: WTF !? Did that happen to anyone else as well ? I mean WaR is not a bad game.. but Id rather play a single player game to have fun than beeing angry all the time because of such idiots. P.S. english is not my main language.. and no cry more n00b posts thank you. |

It's been happening ever since people figured out that they can get huge amounts of EXP/RP for running solo in scenarios. Mythic has done nothing to correct this 9 months after launch and the game still has many bigger problems so I wouldn't expect them to do anything about it any time soon. www.agonysend.org |

I think it is a tough problem from a game mechanic situation to solve. As a low level sorc you will do less good than any other level 40 class. The amount of good you do gets spread to the entire group, so from a min max perspective you bring the group down. (this is assuming all players are of equal skill) The problem though is that it is tough to be a non level 40 in T4. I almost wish they made a T5 (just for level 40's) and allowed cross server scenario Q's. The other frustrating part you will hit is that during a fortress take if you are less than level 37 you will get kicked out (hardwired game mechanic). Then preferentially kicked out based off your level. (they have a certain number of defenders and attackers allowed, the highest level people (by level and RR) get in first) I'm sorry that you had that experience. On the flip side, because you were "forced" to run solo in the scenario, all the good you do gets spread just to you. So if you average more contribution per person than the group does, then you will actually come out getting more exp/renown than the people in the group. That is what Murashu was talking about.

If you could heal, they wouldn't think you were a leech, lol. That's the real shame of it. |
